infamousstuna 03-07-2011 01:53 PM

^^The shirt is nice! Thanks!

these look really nice but there is some other 2 piece rotors on the market now for only 630 a pair. Have your prices gone down on these or is it still 1,700 for all four?

cavemancan 07-12-2012 01:53 PM

Whats the difference between the RA rotors and Racing Brakes offering? Besides price and weight.

Just curious.

Imperial 09-03-2012 08:37 AM

These work with the factory e-brake? No cutting or grinding for install?

scruffydog 01-30-2013 11:32 AM

I just found this thread b/c I saw somebody had these rotor on the 370z forum and did a google search to find myself here.

I just want to say I appreciate the amt of engineering and work that went to these rotors. I too would love to buy something like this but at the moment my fiancese aren't working out well. I've always been interested in BBK or brake improvements and I think you found the solution that will allow me to not throw away those Akebono's which came with my sports package.

Considering the huge weight reduction in rotary mass, I believe this will be a great improvement for anybody who tracks. Anyway, I hope you'll find me on this list someday.

Keep up the good work Scott and don't get too worked up, I'm sure good things will come around...it's like everybody wants a Ferrarri but hardly anybody would actually fork out and spend the money to get one.

Are these still available? If so are they available for just the front or only 4 corners? Thanks.

Scott @ RA 04-30-2014 03:51 AM

Sorry for not being on here for a while guys, we are still around, I have just been really too busy to be on forums for a while...

Our rotors are made with a very different and specific, custom blend of cast iron, nickle, inconel, etc in specific amounts. There is no better (metal) rotor material and process available. ... for starters. But I can go on and on about the process and differences (we dont have all day)

Yes, front or rear set can be purchased seperately.

andy_meng1024 04-30-2014 04:26 AM

Scott, can you PM me your price for the front? I can't PM you somehow. Thanks.

Because he's not a forum sponsor...

Does no one see that this is a 4 YEAR OLD group buy that never got fulfilled?

The actual "group buy" didn't work out on here in the time frame we were shooting for back then.... But there has been about 8-10 complete sets of rotors sold to our happy customers :) as well as a few orders of just the front pair or just the rear pair, etc.

V8Killer 10-09-2014 09:40 AM

Has the price dropped any on these? I just wanted to know as Z1 offers a set of 2 piece rotors with pads, SS brake lines and fluid for a few hundred dollars cheaper.
