Did anyone see My Strange Addiction on The Learning Channel Sunday night?

It's a show about very disturbing addictions and I would think that many of these people are seriously mentally ill

Some guy has a "relationship" with his car. He fantasizes that it is a real person, talking to it, giving it presents and caressing and kissing it like a lover..He talks about it as a lover even having sex with it. Needless, to say he does not have any "human" partners

That was on at 10:30 Eastern time.

Before that at 10 pm there was a young girl who was...ready for this...addicted to drinking gasoline! She drinks about five gallons a year...couple of ounces a day.....sometimes mixed with newspaper and sometimes straight right out of those red plastic containers ..her nervous system is seriously impaired, could not even feel needles stuck in her.. and her liver enlarged..

She got treatment for this addiction and has stopped but they guy is more in love with his car than ever..

The human mind can be a damn strange thing.


Now I know we love our Z s but ...this is crazy!

The final episode in this show about a woman with a with strange addiction has nothing to do with cars or gasoline but is even more disgusting..

And there are a lot of rumors these are all staged. Hard to trust TLC when you look at all the crap manufactured "reality" shows they air.

Yeah I posted a thread on the guy having sex with his car a while back :roflpuke2: guess if you cant get laid you gotta compensate with using your car as a sex toy...:ugh2:

As bad as this was the final episode was even worse..if you can believe it,,It was so bad that I could not watch more than the opening minute or two,,this woman was addicted to drinking her own urine! She was brushing her teeth with it and using it on her face like a cologne..but when she put a glass of it to her mouth and started to drink it,.,.for the first time I can ever recall,,,i absolutely could not watch it and turned the channel...

My thought is to put these three people together. The gasoline chick can spit premium into the tank on the car-sex guy's car, then rev it up and do a neutral drop launch with the urine lady in the back... she'll get so scared that she pisses herself (that'll make her happy). The whole thing could come full circle.

Ok well say what you will but there are mentally ill people in this world ..some have suffered horrible tragedies and others have brains that are not functioning properly...and you can say what you want,.,.How else to you explain this? evil spirits?

In fact my family is and I would not trivialize mental health issues by putting them on TV just to make a few bucks. If these people are real them shame on their parents or families for not getting them real help. The parents of the kid who drinks gas should be charged with child endangerment. :shakes head:
