How do you even put all that power to the ground? I guess the driver just likes laying black lines down the pavement.

otherwise, very impressive.

You better get that thing built to take a lot of abuse....the new 6870 turbo should be good for similar numbers posted above, with better response.

You know I want to, and if I wasn't saving for a Dyno the engine would be out and being built as we speak. I am thinking over the next winter the car will see some changes, thats if it survives another season the way it is. Its just so hard to mess with something that runs so well! haha

damn.... no words for this

Saving for a dyno? Do tell...

Well thats the only way Uprev would give me Pro Tuner status... so I had to do something about that :shakes head:.

lol naw I tune diesel trucks all over the place and am just getting to the point where it would be beneficial to have our own dyno setup. That being said if my car spends more time on it than any of our trucks I cant help that. lol

Yeah Dynosty knows their stuff. Anytime you hear big numbers on the VQ platform (minus AMS and the GTR), they're most likely involved.

Yup, they sure do. Now I need somebody to take their 370Z in to Dynosty for a complete engine build, so I can offer them a semi-redicilous discount on a twin scroll kit with the all new, recently released 6870 turbo from Precision....rated at 1,100HP. The turbo is a $1,000 upgrade from the standard 6266 that comes with the kit. It also comes only in a ball bearing configuration.

Damn I would have been ALL over that offer, Dynosty is finishing up my build in the next few weeks. The last time I emailed you, you were several months behind on fabrication so I ended up going with Greddy TT. Our original plan was to use your kit though

I have had a customer that decided to do a bit of a custom mid mount kit, using a Precision 7675 T4 .96 a/r billet JB turbo. The run was made on the new DJ dyno at Dynosty. E85 fuel and 30psi of boost. The engine was built by the guys at Dynosty...IMO one of the best VQ builders in the United States.

The car was running out of fuel, so full HP potential was not reached. The numbers are still impressive if you ask me....

With the recent release of the all new PTE 6870 turbo, I would expect similar results with the VHR twin scroll kit.

Sure is...too bad he ran out of fuel. I am sure the turbo had over 1,000whp in it. The 6870 turbo should have similar results to the dyno posted above.

Possible to fit this 6870 turbo on a V1 kit?
