Has anyone gotten boost by gear working properly?

Like the title says, anyone get it working properly on any boost controller? I kind of wish uprev was able to do it and also control boost.

That is one thing I miss about hondata kpro for my old RSX.

I know the Turbosmart eBoost2 supports it. I was considering it but then realized that each gear becomes a set point. That is an issue since I already use three for tunes.

I think the EVC6 has it too but i was told it doesn't work properly on our cars.

I am more interested in trying to find out of someone actually got it working.

I have the evc6 and it works perfectly. It's boost by speed not boost by gear... But accomplishes the same thing

so whats your set up with it?

When I get to the shop tonight I'll post up about it. On the iPad right now.

But I will say that there is an optional USB cable and software kit that allows you to setup and tweak the boost controller with your laptop, and that's how I do it, and it's awesome. It doesn't give you any extra features, just helps out those like me who don't actually care to learn the device. I do not get along well with things like it where you have tons of features but have only a few buttons and have to memorize sequences and different ones to hold down certain amount of seconds and etc. Drives me nuts. You should see me try and set the clock or reset the oil change on the factory 370z multi-gauge.

The software lays it all out and makes it super clear and obvious what you are doing.

Here is the thread that was started by Ron and I added to. It is about sourcing a vehicle speed signal. In my case, for the EVC6 installation:

And here is where you buy your HKS EVC6: :)
