So you can go WOT all through second gear and have it hook up the whole time?

1slow370 11-05-2014 01:08 PM

If he can he must have a water bottle stuck under his gas pedal. I'm on the slightly superior nismo tires and and a second gear pull for me ends up spinning loose, and even if i ease on the throttle if I'm on the boards at 6k it breaks loose again, and that was at the F'n drag strip NA. with a 3.56 rear gear, coils, bushings, and running less camber too.

Yes and I run to 75k-8k redline...the second pull in the video I let off at 165-170mph

I'm on the same wheels / tires and this is exactly my experience as well.

Bridgestone must have screwed up when they made BBR's S04's and used R comp Tread rubber

7.5k to 8k RMP? My shift point is 7.1k and that's the climax tq spot for my powerband.

After reviewing the video at a 40mph pull. Your turbos probably have longer lag response. Know for a fact 8 psi GTM stage 2 stock block setup you will kick sideways and have to peddle it out. That's my guess being that your top end is more aggressive.

Thanks for sharing. Comparing my car to yours is Apples and oranges.

Agree with apple an oranges ..as far as Lag I'm not sure idk what ur twins spool at but I hit full boost right about 3200 rpms to 3500 rpms I think that's pretty good for a single turbo..

If im just drive and pull up on some and run yes my tires well spin but let's say I'm rolling around 3k in 2nd smash it do a nice Rollin burn out after and only after that the tires are nice and warm it sticks just fine in second and third...

That's hardly the same thing the rest of us were discussing.
