Jwick. That is my dyno. Actually one where I was running off spring pressure only. You can see this by the way my boost drops off really bad up top. The WG springs get hot and loosen up. This is why nobody should ever run off springs alone. After I figured out my MBC it held boost evenly across the range.

I got the ball bearing upgrade. I also have that 16* timing to help spool thanks to the E.

What spring did you install?

And I second your statements of a single. Mine comes on hard and fast. I'd be shocked if an equivalent TT spools more than a couple hundred rpms faster.

i like both of the aforementioned companies and their products/services first off.

secondly theres only 1 company that does a signle kit that i know of and a. they dont do autos, b. owner is a bit douchey, and c. i'm not a fan of the mounting location for as i DD it and the location in a rain situation worries me slightly. prbably not a big issue but it's a thought for concern.

now a cutsom top mount single like another PA guy mykindaguise on here did would be a route to look into but thats a lot of time and money to custom fab another kit from scratch like he did.

Thanks for the info mothergoose. Being well informed is the way to be, like i've said i'm the last to give adivce, but I wasn't wrong about powerband (just RMP).

In less you're running some cvic sized single turbo twins will always boost faster.

What size and turbo style you have?

And a single is going to make more torque than TT and be more efficient since you are only dealing with the loses of one turbo, not two.

That was mostly for you Presto, you and your :stirthepot:

I installed the 10.5lb springs. I think they were black. They do have a +/- tolerance range of 1.5lbs though.

Another good reason to never run spring pressure alone. I was seeing 11lbs of boost on the initial run and it slowly tapered off when things started heating up. Pretty soon I was down to 9lbs and falling off hard up top.

personally i would never touch a GTM kit nor go with a single turbo.
i would either go with a TT kit from FI or AAM. shoot for about 500-550whp since i DD it in the warm months. also add a level10 upgraded 7AT thats capable of about 1000hp so i dont blow it up.

:tiphat:

You have your reasons. I'm sure to do with Sam's way of business. GTM kit was on the car before I purchased it, but this isn't my 1st FI VQ.

Single turbo is like NOS. When it comes on it comes the **** on.:driving:

but

Depending on size of turbo and tune makes a different comparing powerbands on dyno charts.

So your statement that you would never run a single is completely irrelevant. You just didn't a) buy a "Man"ual b) must have said something really dumb to the owner to think he is not a stand up guy c) have you ever once heard of anyone having problems in the rain?

whats wrong with the 7AT? got beef? :stirthepot:

i asked owner if he had a auto verison of the kit when it was just released and he responded in a dumb way for a business owner. old news and a dead issue anyways.

and no i havent but i also never really asked since i've always planned on twins if/when i went with boost.

you really are a tocuhy fucker arent you lol

sasha was just an idiot to knock off that much business by dissing that big of his "possible" market.

that or he's just not smart enough to make his kit work with the 7AT :stirthepot:

the 7AT is great in the Z and i will stand by that statment vs you manual pee-pee touching fags :tiphat:

To each is own. It takes a large amount of skill to run 10's or even low 11's with a gearbox.

If I could be so bold to assume. They're claiming Auto isn't as respectful compared to the 6MT.
