why not buy a brand new OEM nissan Block and Crank? I can give you a killer deal on it, it's more than $750 but it's brand new OEM. all the GTR guys buy brand new blocks when building a motor and it's surprisingly affordable compared to buying, shipping, and tearing down a used block. plus something new you don't have to clean, deck, and so on if you are staying stock bore.
just my $0.02 |

Update so as many of you know i bought a short block to build. well with all the BS i have got from doug at Z feveror Fever racing sent me a rusty POS. After that he said he sent me the wrong one when i said i wanted my money back. So he sent me another and said it would be here Monday which is today....so i took off work again for the 4th time. (im in the Army this aint easy) I watched the fedex guy go past my house, i sent him a text. he said fedex had issues with planes not flying this weekend...(he is in tampa and i'm in southern georgia) so i finally get a tracking number and look at it and it says it was picked up today at 1038am....what do i do? i want to hurt this man. this is pissed me off so dam bad i almost sold my car...lol..that well never happen...but i text him and say dude wtf he said the system must be missed up...I dont know what to do about this orther then let forum know about it...

Good news
1. new bare block came in from old Z fever nd it's a good block. so the build can continue. 2. I honed the first block and it cleaned up great and still is within factory specs Now i know the first block is a 2013 370z block and with less then 20k miles off of the serial number. the second one didn't come with the serial so idk nothing about it...which block should i chose...hmmmmm |

Nice thread BBR. Very impressive stuff going on. Glad you got the spare block situation figured out. Any vidz of the 1g Talon? My first car was a 95 GSX. Got a soft spot for DSMs.
