MOre options, awesome but I think I'm gonna go with the TurboSmart. Although the the GFB sounds so good.

My shop recommended me putting a tial blow off valve with a supercharger spring on there. Might go that route see how it sounds!

Sweet! Vids when done!

Funny I ordered one today but I went with the plumb version. Don't really care for the sound in the end.

awesome post info if your car acts different, I wont see my SC till next month. Since this is still going Swiss wrap your intake pipe curious what temps are if it runs better.

EVOHUNTER 04-24-2014 11:15 AM

Are you guys venting it to atmosphere? It will make the car idle like a bag of ****. Otherwise I have the compact duel, u cant hear it at all, even under hard load. so if your buying it for noise, its unless. It will run like it has a huge vaccum leak.

Pro4Jackster 04-24-2014 05:16 PM

Mine idles fine. I have had the Dual Port for almost a year. It recirculates to the intake and then vents to atmosphere when the rpms are high. It vents very loud when I am above 4000 rpms under no-load.

1slow370 04-24-2014 07:11 PM

because the stillen kit has the valve post maf sensor you shouldn't just vent it to atmosphere a dual port is probably fine if you set it to recirculate enough air to keep the mafs happy and not vent to atmosphere at idle.

EVOHUNTER 04-24-2014 08:40 PM

pro4jackster, your running the compact dual port? how'd u set up the by pass valve? I'm interested. Im was always under the assumption from what 1slow370 said.
also, did you have it tuned with the bypass set up this way, or was it added after the fact?

Pro4Jackster 04-24-2014 10:53 PM

I got the 25mm just like the guys above. It plumbs in exactly like the one Stillen provides, same hoses, same clamps. I just had it in my hand the other day, but I didn't think to check if the recirc oriface opens before the vent to atmosphere does. I just assumed it did. It's just a plunger with two holes in the case. The recirc side has a nipple for the hose. Maybe one of these guys above can post a picture when theirs comes in. I bet the plunger moves and exposes the recirc side opening first.

I installed it at the same time I installed y'all's cog pulley idea. So I got a retune at the same time.

yeah it open to recirc first to keep the mafs happy. supposedly you can tune it for how much and how fast it vents to atmosphere by adjusting the cap.

The nipple on the top sucks the plunger down with vaccum at idle, once your off idle, your vaccum is gone and the plunger closes and allows boost. im going to pull out the bypass and see if I could have it rec. back into the blower. without it exiting!
thanks bud.
