I think their turn key kit is pre tuned to a certain exhaust set up so maybe other test pipes might effect it a litte. The oil cooler is most likely re positioned. ALthough I could be completely wrong on both of those statements lol

I hope they can chime in on this question because the stock cats are very restrictive but I don't want to pick up a part I'm going to have to dump down the line for a loss

G37Sam 01-26-2010 02:23 PM

You can always get a retune it's not like Stillen's maps are holy lol

NYBladeZ 01-26-2010 02:33 PM

True, hopefully when GTM releases they'll include a tune for hfc's and test pipes

JB-370z 01-26-2010 02:49 PM

Yes that is a must. They have the resources and they are the type that can accomodate anyones personal custom needs, I dont see why not. One of the reasons they are ledgendary as a tuner.

Considering how proud we are of the products we manufacture, we made sure that our oil coolers and the factory exhaust components/direct replacements are compatible with our supercharger kit. Again, we designed our kit to work as efficiently with the factory vehicle as possible without detracting from the form and function of the car.

If you are looking for things to get for your car while waiting for our supercharger kit to be released for the DIY installer, our 2.5" cat-back, GTM Spec ECU Flash Kit and heavy duty oil cooler are good things to get. In fact, if you get our flash kit, there will be a credit available for when you purchase our turn-key supercharger kit, because we'll be using the same engine management. ;)

The only things we do not recommend getting are any kind of underdrive pulley or cold air intakes. We don't make either product and our supercharger kit comes with a cold air intake...so you'll be covered in that department.

hopefully there are numbers up soon :D

SAM@GTM 01-26-2010 05:28 PM

I know that we have engineered and produced a superior system to any other system on the market. Let me say this: it is years ahead and it is so hard not post pics right now.

We are in the process of taking pics of the kit on and off the car with all its individual components. After that the kit is going back on the car to get tuned. Then we'll start taking in house installs :D

Here are few pics anyway just to show where everything is.

GTM> some tight clearances there! what exactly are we looking at? Is that the hot outlet pipe that splits off to the dual TBs?

This is the supercharge cold air intake to the air filters (supercharger inlet ) .

The pics that you are seeing are the final pics before starting the tuning process, and sense we have tuned so many forced induction VQ37VHR . this will be fairly quick .

We are shooting for this Friday
