martin82 03-17-2014 06:34 PM

hahhaah I wish!! My car is in San Diego!!! Can't wait to tray it out!! I will let you know after I get it tuned, most likely since it will be basically for track, will tune to 91 only, and mix 91 and 100 to run on track to be safe, until I can later upgrade fuel system more to run e85.

elperuano 03-17-2014 06:38 PM

Damn he helps you on the forum by giving u the install manual but can't email a tune?

martin82 03-17-2014 06:52 PM

Well, not much I can say there lol, but I am glad I received my radiator, shrouds, oil baffle pan, and a bolt from GTM on a fairly good time schedule!

Chuck33079 03-17-2014 07:44 PM

Might be time to just take it to someone a little more reliable for the tune.

martin82 03-17-2014 07:53 PM

Yea but the car is in San Diego, need to at least be able to street drive it to Specialty Z for a dyno tune!

To bad it isn't a turbo. You can get away with limping it on the stock tune as long as it never sees boost.

Chuck33079 03-17-2014 08:23 PM

Could you put the OEM belt back on and bypass the sc pulley for the meantime?

1slow370 03-17-2014 08:31 PM

Its probably better to use the specialty z tune that way since its race car you could have him custom tune it and he would now more about the tune that is already on the car that way.

martin82 03-17-2014 08:46 PM

yeah end goal is to have Seb at Specialty Z do my dyno tune, my installer trailers car to SD, I'd have to ask for a favor to tow it back to LA!

I'm gonna call GTM again today. I just need that intial ROM so I can drive the stupid thing to get tuned. Sam said last week it'd be there by the end of the day, and it's going on Tueday. I also told Pablo that your tune and mine were still MIA when I talked to him Friday

Basically, I'm gonna see if I can keep Sam on the phone while he sends me the file, cause it sounded like it was done, just he keeps forgetting to send it. If it is, I'll ask em to send you yours too.
