Kyle @ IPP is a good solid guy. If done correctly and tuned right motor will last long time and take a good beating.
|
But I'm going to come straight with you on with my feelings.
Just go ahead and come out of the closet already, we all know anyway.... |

Edit: My opinion calling it how i see it, you don't have to care but don't get all upset when you get the "we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" businesses have these signs for a reason. Double Edit: Just buy it from somewhere else don't even know why you called them if you hate them so much. |
No one ask for your opinion so :gtfo2: :icon23:.....

To be honest I really don't know. This is my 2nd boosted z and I love the car but finding decent shops and parts seem poor and I now worry about further problems down the road. I am considering a m3, Porsche, or even a gtr. The bottom line is, it is so much easier to make a fast car faster.. Most company's who do make aftermarket parts for the z are just in it for the quick buck and lack customer service when needed after.

Then you can stay in the Nissan family |
New M4 looks super tempting too

Price tag on any upgrades for GTR is scaaary.

the only thing that kept me away from the GTR was the size, I really dislike how massive the vehicle is.

Yes it is huge.. however after you drive one for more than a few 100 miles you realize how amazing it is still. While it does feel somewhat numb it is just so damn fast, and the AWD system is simply amazing. The only deal break for me (which still isnt even a deal breaker but makes me think twice) is no 6MT

GTR + Switzer = pure bliss. Sat in a R1K Switzer built GTR and it was quick. No drama no fuss.

But as for OP, go ahead and buy a gtr. I'm sure you'll stay stock when ur older model 370 with boost leaves u in the dust. |

It's the most frequent debate on the forum but for the $55-$60k you are gonna spend on a stock, low mileage 09 GTR you can have one gnarly *** Z. If you want 600+ all day HP and have $70k to spend, you would be ignorant not to buy a GTR. Each have their advantages and to each their own.
|
Just depends on what you want out of your car I guess.
IMO the best reasons *not* to buy a GT-R are the ridiculous maintenance costs, Nissan's warranty silliness (hard launches, sport mode blah blah), and the lack of a MT. That said, I'll definitely be taking a hard look at the R36 when it comes around. |
Point is you're going to modify the gtr.. smh...
