I looked at that one but I'm concerned about how much water will hit the engine. Here in south Florida we get some serious dumping rain and I'm worried what that might do to the engine.

for rain just add something to cover from the inside....

Then is doesn't help cooling, I'm trying to make the engine/supercharger run cooler for track days. I'm hoping the one with the one center front hole is between the radiator and the motor so it would mainly hit the Stillen tube from the SC to the engine.

Yeah that's good looking. I'd need to see it on the car but I'd probably rock that so long as there are vent covers plus it'd need to be painted.

dmhenderson 11-13-2013 07:50 PM

Oh man, this looks fantastic but jesus christ $900 unpainted? Blargh.
Edit: Does anyone own this hood? Can I see what it looks like before I go look at my savings?

martin82 11-13-2013 08:04 PM

you need a mixture of the one lower vent hood plus the TS hood and would be ideal

dmhenderson 11-13-2013 08:38 PM

That VSII hood is the way I'd go for venting. Directly above the engine bay and totally unobtrusive.
Edit: F*ck. I'm going to buy it. I know I shouldn't but I'm gonna. I'm trying to rationalize it now.

Go for it. I may do the same once I see it on yours.

They've got to have mispriced that hood or they've got the wrong description. There's just no way that's a dry carbon hood for $780.

Yeah uh. I might jump on that if that's legit.
