Imagine getting a supercharger kit with a single pulley option thats a stillen kit
My charge air wss getting so hot my computer was pulling timing and I could fry an egg on the intake
I am not seeing that with my turbo setup and a fmic

If I had a built motor I would want more also but mine only has 12k on it so I'm not ready to go there. You didn't enjoy your Stillen kit at all? Just curios what oil temp you were seeing when it started pulling timing? Saturday while tuning my car we had it up near 220 and I wasn't seeing it pull any timing.

Comming from stock to the stillen kit yes I did like the extra power
And yes I got the 500hp at the crank. But from there it gets very hard to
Get more power out of the kit with out changing a lot of crap
The stillen intercooler is very ineffective, the location of the ait and maf
Is not good and it greatly limits the power of a v3 vortech head unit

Yes you can start replacing stuff like custom redoing the pipes to install
A fmic or get a better impeller but after the money I spent I was not going to go that route

I was seeing about 230 oil temps but thsts not the only factor when timming is being pullef
I went to a 9lb pulley and was seeing about 10psl at that point my water to air intercooler was not cooling my charge air
Ait was reading one thing air going in to the motor was way hotter
A simple fmic would have helped a lot

If you keep the kit I would upgrade :
the water to air heat exhange
Run a larger water reserve and move it to the trunk
Upgrade the impeller
And move the maf closer to the tb
Change over to cog pullies
And run water meth
Retune

At will get you real close to 500rwhp

Thank you for the advise! I don't care about 500whp, I wanted a little more pep and I'm ok with where I am but I will enjoy watching your build. Stillen has frustrated the hell out of me so don't take this as me disagreeing with you.
