so if some1 was shooting for a specific power with build engine (Say 600 on WHP daily use)

which kit you would prefer GTM intern of spool, power curve, etc etc..?

The Garret Ball bearing TT or MHI TT?

Will the 16g option with internal waste gates cause boost creep issues with a free flowing exhaust as seen with the stage 1 Garrett kit?

Actually, when we were first evaluating the MHI turbos as a viable option, we noticed that the turbine housing is very well designed. The port from the turbine inlet flows more smoothly into the wastegate port than the Garrett turbine housing. Therefore, it should be less of an issue. That said, we will be doing some additional testing to evaluate the potential for boost creep even further.

Very interested in finding out final price -- also, is there a possibility for a group buy?

We were contemplating doing a group buy or something similar. The jury is still out on that though.

Just to maintain complete objectivity, you still need to budget money for the install, cooling upgrades, and gauges to do it right. Very exciting option for everyone, for sure!

Very true.

The Garret Ball bearing TT or MHI TT?

Well, one of the advantages of our Garrett ball bearing kits is the fact that the ball bearing turbos will outspool the journal bearing turbos. There is no refuting that. That said, for the price, the MHI is a great way to go since you'll have money left over to put towards a built motor if that's what you really want to do. At the same time, if you are looking for ultimate performance with unbeatable spool, then our Garrett kit is the way to go.

Either way, both systems offer advantages and disadvantages. Really, the defining characteristic is going to be budget.

We are also looking into renting California Speedway for a day so we can take this thing to the track for some 1/4 mile testing.

Everyone has seen the dyno charts for TT's. GTM's charts are legendary. This will be convincing too. Blah, blah, blah....

What REALLY gets the juices and convincibility going is a solid time slip.

Put this package in one of your hot 7AT's, add one pair of DOT drag radials, and step into the ring.

Now you've got traction. :D

When my build is done, I will try to work with GTM to bring it for some testing at CA Motor Speedway.
