Correct me if I am wrong here but Tial labels there housings for Garrett based GT35 turbos as the following:

AR 1.03 = 3053
AR .86 = 2853
AR .64 = 4653

This is based on their technical drawings.

That's because you have the numbers wrong. I am not running 2586/6852.

You are correct, but your second line has the wrong AR size to number size.

AR .82 = 2853 Flipped around: 35 frame, .82 AR.

2853 not 2586 ;)

Yeah their technical document attached here has it labelled the way you have it posted I must have typo'd that 82 with an 86:

So Tony what are the specs on these housings? I am curious on how they relate to other GT35 sized housings and what kind of characteristics they would have on their compression map.

if the naming convention is flipped around which kinda makes sense I guess. Would that make the 6852 a 25 series with and .86 AR?

EDIT:

I see its a 28 series Frame with and .86 AR

Welcome. There was never a group buy. All kits are individually ordered and individually made by FI with love.

We aren't quite ready to give out all the specs just yet. Results first...then will share pages upon pages of specs.

But to give you some idea, a pair of these turbos will flow 1200lb/min of airflow at just 30psi relative pressure, while still maintaining over 75% efficiency. On paper, this is enough to make 1200whp without even pushing the turbos. Tony and I spent hours and hours making these decisions and put a great deal of time and thought into it. I can't wait to see what it does! I have no doubt that FI has provided supplied the best kit possible. Now the rest is up to me and my team to deliver an experience that Moses will be more than proud of.

Hope the list of additional mods is as long as my arm to improve the airflow on the intake and exhaust sides along with the normal rods, pistons, de-compress,etc. This will be interesting, that's for sure.

I think you meant 120lbs/min not 1200lbs/min... even so with two turbos able to flow that much air you would be able to deliver way more than 1200whp... from my under standing a safe guestimate would be 9.5-10.5hp per 1lbs/min... with two turbos that is 240lbs/min (~2400hp)... This must be the holy grail of freaking turbos! Why aren't the GTR guys running this?!?!?!

I would love to see the compressor map of this turbo! it must be near horizontal to get that much flow!

EDIT:

I see you wrote a Pair will flow 120lbs/min @ 30psi... now that is more realistic if you are indeed speaking of them as a pair... even so @ 30psi that would be 1200 Crank HP and given a 15% drivetrain loss thats right at 1050 to the wheels which is still impressive! So is it that each is flowing 120 or each is flowing 60lbs/min? Thanks for your explanation.

Carbon_z 08-19-2015 10:25 AM

These turbos werent cheap... lots of Porsche 911 turbos are running it.
