I just put this together real quick showing a comparison between our Stage 1 TT Kit on E85 vs. our GTR which has a Y Pipe and EcuTek tune. The GTR was tested on the same dyno (2WD mode) as the 370Z. This chart should put all of us GTR owners with mild mods on notice. DO NOT mess around with a FI TT 370Z on a roll. You will pay dearly!!!

May I recommend CSF radiators to all the FI guys?
Company is local and made in the USA!!!

Awesome products

Thinking about copying Charles and putting together a mean 18" set....or just an 18 rear and matching 19 front....dunno. This is the only place where I hate the Z, but I do want to run it in the 1/4 a bit this year.

Meh, bought me an escort redline rad detector....for the ride home on I-5...lol.

Good times, good times.

Justin and I have been working on a little suspension project. Its simmering on the back-burner, but it does get a little attention here and there. By late spring or summer I hope to have a little "fix" for the suspension geometry to help the car hook up better. My 18x12 drag radial setup hardly help my car hookup much better because no width of tire is going to help when the suspension cambers several degrees when it squats!

Nice work on this project, everyone! I also would like to say that I appreciate the feedback from Fast Intentions as the first installers of our S2 fuel system. I am making a couple changes to better accommodate their turbo system based on their input.

faceglide: the laser cut stainless support brackets for the hardpipe are complete... should I ship them to you, or to FI?

Use the AT gear ratio!

I have one for trade!!!!!! :)

I hear ya Charles, do keep me posted, I do not intend to do very much, if at all serious tracking on the car, but the 1/4 mile may be a fun venue and I think the car has much more potential than it is given credit to(especially in the engine). This fix is something I would look into. SO you didnt find much more traction from the R888s to the TQs...ouch that is limiting, to say the least.

As for the brackets, no clue. The car will be there for the week, I will be picking it up at the end of or more likely next week.I will get with Tony tomorrow, if he doesn't get you first.

TQ vs R888... what I have noticed is that both compounds seem to hook up better initially than they do a few weeks down the road. The TQ does hook up better than the R888... but it still is not allowing my car to really get moving in the low gears. When I first installed them with almost no negative camber, the car could barely spin 2nd gear on a real good surface. But a month later and 2nd gear was useless 95% of the time and 3rd gear would occasionally spin.

LOL you see this is the same idea for me as traction control... I want to make my car have genuinely better grip so that it can accelerate faster, rather than limiting its ability to accelerate to stay within the grip it has! However, the taller final drive would suit my power level for other purposes... and if it didnt mess with the SRM, i would have already done it!

Wow! That Z is no little brother to the Zilla anymore Good Job tony on your accomplishment with this Fantastic TT kit!

And I thought you 6MT guys thought SRM was for pussíes? Lol

And put pressure on ECUTek to figure it out

I couldn't agree more! We installed a CSF radiator in the E85 car. Very straightforward install and clean finished look. From the moment we left the dyno, we noticed the temps were lower. The "B" core design is where it is at. It will really shine on the track.

As of now, we currently do not have the radiator on our site however we are a dealer for CSF. Great company to work with!

I am going to talk to the rest of our upcoming installs about this upgrade.

Thanks, Tony

Lol!

I rarely use SRM, but I think I would miss it if it wasn't available. I works wonders when you are in spirited mode keeping above 5k RPM.

Tony:

I may need a bit of assistance if I continue having issues with my radiator. I will contact you sometime this week to discuss that and a few details.

haha jk! :bowrofl: :icon17: SRM is fantastic! I have NEVER thought I'd use it regularly but I did. It makes driving so much easier and there's a reason why it's an option now for Corvette C7, Porsche Cayman, BMW M5-M3-M4 etc. I have 85000 miles and still on stock clutch! Sometimes I take it off and I feel so sloppy since I'm out of practice. But for those nights when I had a busy long 12 work shift, driving home with SRM is amazing!

Anyway, congratulations Tony. I know we spoke before about this kit. Hopefully it brings you everything you've aimed for.

AK, are you going to do anything about all the pornographic pictures (dyno charts) and obscene posts about 632 WHP. This all seems unacceptable

Totally kidding of course :bowrofl:

Oh I can't wait to read faceglide's post in the review thread!

Tony, all I'm going to say is these posts are doing nothing but eliminating conspicuous spending so people can later conspicuously spend it on a certain TT kit I have heard is pretty good. LOL
