GTM TT: Slight turbo whistle... anything to worry?

For the past week I started noticing a bit of a whistle when the turbo spools up on my morning commute to work. It's a cool sound, but I don't remember hearing it. Just wondering if it's something to be nervous about.

Boost gauge should tell u if there is a vac leak. watch it on idle. i also get that sound in my volvo every once in a while and i have double/tripple/quadrouple checked the couplers and its just the way the air flows through the ic couplers. unless u are having eradic boost or slow boost build then it shouldn't be anything too major to worry about (i.e. turbo going out/ wg problem).

usually if i have any issues its because a teeny tiny lil vac line has come lose. check all those lil guys

Yup, edub, I was a bit paranoid about the turbo bearings. When my dad bought a used '90 Z32-TT the turbos would wail like a police siren when cold.

Car seems to be running and building boost fine, but I haven't hit WOT as often either especially in the morning. At first I thought it was from cold oil, but even after it hit 180F I still hear it in the morning.

Possibly the reason for noticing this now is that I've not had the radio on for the past week after swapping the amps and waiting for some additional accessories to get it going again. So who knows... it might be whistling for quite sometime.
