Soon to be twinning..it's begun
 
Aftet several mos of waiting on this n that for various reasons I won't go in to, the Gtm stg 2 turbo build is underway :leghump: I want to thank Sam @ Gtm for getting the kit put together so fast and getting it shipped out. Sam and Mike both have been a tremendous help in helping get this build on track :tiphat: The car was dropped off at my shop yesterday and they pulled the motor and digging right in. Can't wait

Congrats, it is going to be a blast once it is done.
Besides the Stage 2 TT what else do you have on the car or going on the car?

Not much as I was running out of money fast lol. JWT clutch n flywheel, invidia Gemini exhaust, b&m short shifter, stance coilovers, GTM 34r oil cooler, uprev osiris, dw 850cc injectors, dw 320lph fuel pump, aam oil pan spacer, and aem gauges. Wish I had picked a different exhaust, but i originally went in for intake, exhaust and tune, but when parts started showing up it morphed into a twin turbo :happydance: Would have liked to go beefier on the clutch n flywheel and defi gauges but I was running out of $$$ n the wife was getting pissed :mad: was gonna try n post pics but not sure I can from iPhone. Should be trailered to tuner this Friday and I can't wait!!

Finally got the car on the dyno last night and she made 493 b4 they shut it down. I guess when getting into higher boost the fuel pump was running out of power n causing it to run lean. Gotta run some more power to the fuel pump n get it back to the dyno on Monday again. Pretty stoked about the power being where it was @110 degrees outside and pump gas

sounds great man! i think GTM has a device especially for that issue.

That's awesome to hear you put down such numbers on a 100+ day! Haha. Cant wait to see Monday how well it does. I'm surprised that a 320lph fuel pump was running out of power.

My shop told me they run into it on a lot of higher hp cars where they run a relay of sorts as the factory wiring can't carry the current the larger pump needs. It was late last night when they explained it to me and I'm not totally sure how that works quite yet. Going to have them explain it to me again.

@ Fuct Great that's all I need is to be cruising GTMs website before I pick up my car as I'm sure the searching will lead to me sleeping on the couch :rofl2:

I found it on there site thanks. That is exactly what they are going to be fixing on Monday. After seeing it on GTMs site it made perfect sense.

Oh yes! The voltage stabilizer for the pump. Gotcha! Cant wait to see how much more you get out of it with just that. :tiphat: PICS!

Me too:yum: Not sure how much more after talking with my shop. They want to keep it a touch under balls out to keep it reliable for DD. I can respect that but seeing the numbers go up sure does make u feel better. Even if it doesn't change I'm perfectly happy since at this point all I wanted to make was 500 w/out building the motor up.
Oh I see that your doing 20/25 spacers. How much drop u got on there and do u get any rubbing? Lock out / lock out? That's gonna be my next little upgrade since lowering it made it look horrible all sunken in like.
