Any word on the progress of this becoming a kit?

We have another in house build that will allow us to finish up the cold side Jig and i will be able to sell the kit. In about a month time frame we will be able sell the kit.

Awesome, glad to hear it. I'm assuming price will come out around then as well?

I live in germany and therefore have no speed limits. I have a 24 row cooler but when I cruze above 130MPH I get oil temps around 240 on 90 degree days.

My goal is to be able to stomp on some porches and M3's out here but I'm concerned about long term driveablity with a FI set up.

With your setup do you believe I could maintain oil temps and maintain speeds in excess of 180+ for any extended time?

I rutinely run at the stock top speed of 165 but would like to get more. From what I have a read a single turbo set up would give me a better top end punch that I'm looking for but temp issues are my main concern at the moment.

what do you think?

Dzel 12-03-2012 04:57 AM

These dyno numbers you have posted how much boost is that with?

I have the 36 Row Oil cooler.. and I see temps around 200-210 even when rompin on it.... the only time I saw anything over that.. was in TN, and it was 109° out and i was in bumper to bumper traffic

TopgunZ 01-30-2013 09:49 AM

Can you post a dyno sheet of the "whole" sheet? I would like to see what the rest of the graph looks like instead of just the peaks. Also would like to see boost logs.

if you get a larger oil cooler you should be fine..
I don't know if you would hit speeds of 180mph.. but I know on the long straights in mexico i would hit 155-165 regularly, and I wouldn't hit over 220°, and averaged 215° at those speeds

KaienZ34 01-30-2013 11:02 AM

:hello:

Dzel 01-30-2013 08:24 PM

Man between this kit the boosted kit and now the FI kit I have no idea which way to go.

Footloose301 03-09-2013 08:35 AM

^this.

Footloose301 03-09-2013 08:36 AM

I wish I could ride in a single turbo Z and then a TT Z and see which pull I like better. I'm guessing the single is going to take longer to spool....?

KaienZ34 03-09-2013 09:59 AM

I've ridden in three TT 370's but no single or SC'ed 370's. I'd guess the single takes a bit longer to spool but would have more top end.

valpozguy 03-09-2013 10:09 AM

Mine spools like a sc. Trust me you would not be disappointed.

doesn't really take that much longer..
the nice thing is, driving around town.. it is similar to stock..
I stomp on it, and its a ******* rocket..

just need to address the PS hose that's in the way of the down pipe, and it's flawless

FireDan50 07-21-2013 10:28 PM

Any updates here? I'm hoping to have my turbo setup installed this week.

what updates you looking for man?

FireDan50 07-22-2013 06:27 AM

Really been looking for reviews, installs, pics, vids, etc. Been scouring the internet but only found a few hits. Most of the pics are from S&R/VSR...trying to find more user reviews, detailed pics, better quality videos, etc.

Nissan370 07-22-2013 09:16 AM

My car is in Florida now just waiting

I did look at your thread. No offense, but there was only a couple pictures, no videos, and not a lot of information. Most of the thread was just off-topic chatter.

elperuano 07-22-2013 10:20 PM

Can't lie, made me chuckle a bit...

ok, I just reread that thread.. you are right.. lol I need to clean it up and upload more pics...
ask an I shall deliver...
I have really only had the trip from Tampa to ND, and then the 2 months of driving..

it's truely a dream man.. it's very fast... so fast that I itch to be in boost when I sleep.. the welds are top notch.. I got nothing but compliments from the Z1 guys, and they all expected it to be less the awesome, but it was indead awesome

made 520whp at ~9psi. drives like stock when out of boost.. doesn't take much to get into boost tho..
I drove it 3200 miles from FL to ND.. after a few hours of driving in TN(was 109° out in bumper to bumper) she got heak soaked pretty bad, so I left her sit for a few hours, fired her up, and BAM.. like new!

FireDan50 07-23-2013 05:02 AM

The heat soaking part concerns me. What kind of symptoms did you see (oil/water temps, car behavior, etc)? What aftermarket cooling mods do you have (radiator, vented hood, etc)? If I remember reading, I think you have a Z1 oil cooler, but don't know which size. Is your oil cooler mounted behind the intercooler?

I'm military too, man, so I know what its like being gone from everything so long :P

My car is at their shop in Tampa right now getting the single turbo put in. I was just looking for more info/media on this to tide me over while I wait. I'm really anxious to get my car back after my Stillen supercharger failure.

Nissan370 07-23-2013 09:35 AM

:rolleyes:ya still waiting for word i am on a forged motor so i am hoping for mid 500's i have a 340lp fuel pump and upgraded fuel pump wiring but still using the 600cc injectors from the stillen kit

elperuano 07-23-2013 10:15 AM

Ur gonna max out the injectors before you reach ur goal.

FireDan50 and Nissan370 getting their kits installed!!!

regulator11 07-23-2013 02:28 PM

Im in boost all of the time with this kit in the 95 degree weather of sw florida and the hotest it has ever gotten is 200 degree oil temp and normal coolent temp. Only thing i have is a vented hood and 34 row z1 oil cooler mounted behind the intercooler. You will love this kit. Sounds almost stock until you hit boost and its all turbo. Good luck man!!

the heat soak was simply everything was soaked.. but it was bumper to bumper in a 109***° heat... it would have happened to anyone I was simply recanting my tale.. loss of power because the intercooler couldn't exchange the heat fast enough.

as for oil temps still didn't get anywhere CLOSE to limp mode(I have z1s biggest oil cooler) and then coolant guage only got to 1 bar above normal
