Edit: Also I want to add what an amazing shop this place is. The tuners Bobby and Ben I would put up against anyone and they would literally give you the shirt off their back. The shop was full of tt and s/c Z's and G's along with their drift car, 802whp C6 404ci and the 850whp?? TT LS2 350Z. These guys know what they are doing, they are very low key and don't play the forum wars anymore. I'll dig up some info on this kit.

:iagree: A great group of guys that even drove down 45 mins from the shop with in the rain their truck/hauler to pick me up after I had spun off into a ditch. Brought the car into the shop, threw it on the lift and checked the wheels out to see if any had been warped. Even re-balanced them for me! No charge. :icon17: Dropped me off at the hotel and picked me up the next day! A great bunch of guys and would highly recommend their shop to anyone local. I :tiphat: to them.

I wonder who you talked to, the car was tuned before the date that you posted this.

We have not yet tested the flow of our intake manifold on anything except an actual engine, where it seems to do very well. We understood what we wanted in a manifold, and we made it happen. If we plan on offering this manifold to the public, we will post the flow characteristics and all information.

As far as issues tuning the car? There were none. Unequal length piping led to absolutely no issues, and neither did the "weird MAF locations". Don't overthink it.

As far as weird MAF locations go. There are no weird MAF locations. Again, I'm not sure who you spoke with.

Also, please keep in mind that this system utilizes the YSI because the customer eventually wants to get closer to the 1000whp mark. If he was aiming for just 500whp and that was it, we would have gone with a smaller supercharger.

It was running and driving around at ZdayZ 2013 for anyone that was there. This thing has a very intense, crazy sound to it.

As far as a recipe for disaster: I beg to differ. We do a lot of thinking and planning before we do anything, and we never let something go out the door that isn't 100%. If it doesn't work, we don't do it.

Thank you guys, take care.

plans for a strut bar? the guy doing the gtr manifold commented on how much worse the car felt after removing the strut bar.

Hmmm, figured I would resurrect this one... what ever became of this one?

Was just thinking the same thing no numbers? is this offered to the public as "their" SC kit another choice might be nice.

Spoke with Bobby from CiN at length yesterday ...

First impression is that these guys are the real deal ... and as honest as the days are long.

Bobby was very helpful and offered his input backed by mega-experience. :tiphat:

He was talking tech shop - thinking out loud the need for cutting an extra key for the crank and crank pulley for the high torque motors.

It's a 3 man shop and their comfort zone is custom projects and installs.

They constantly observe and evaluate what they are doing in real time, and make any adjustments or modifications needed as they go.
They are not a manufacturer, but did offer to put together a 'kit' for me and asked for my time frame.

He also did offer an option of using the newly introduced Vortech V2 Ti SC'r.
which is a step up from the V3...but not as big as the V7.

Higher max HP, RPM and CFM over the V3 ... with a 1/4" larger input side.

(Contacted Vortech since the specs weren't listed on their site and they said it had the same specs as the V1 Ti, externally oiled, but with helical gears and much quieter than the V1 at idle.)

Considering this since I'm not shooting for 1000 whp.

CIN is working up a quote for me ...

Will keep you in the loop !!!

did this intake mani ever go public!??

ANMVQ 06-26-2014 01:32 PM

I just emailed them to ask some questions on is go this way again, not sure tho cause I would be using Motion Lab to tune the car they would just be building me the kit and installing it.

I don't know how that car doesn't have drivability/tuning issues because my old Z drove like **** when I had my different length intake piping. The MAF voltage between the two TBs was way off.

Give me a roots and I will cut the hood to let it hang out all day.....
