Found out that the car has bone stock internals.

I think I am going to have my car shipped there as soon as I get home from the deployment. hopefully be the 1st Z with this!

quite possibly, unless someone convinces me TT is better :p

Don't think you'll be the first though, they already have some Z's lined up. I still say do it, boost doesn't kick in all that much later than twins.

S&R called me...

ZSIZZLE 02-15-2012 10:22 PM

i dont understand how or why there pushing the motor so much farther that everyone else, i understood it to be stock block not stock internals, other wise its a time bomb, it doesnt matter whats blowing into the motor

The kit JUST got wrapped up but we do not have a 370Z yet.

We're in a safe range with everything we have so far. The 100 Octane tuning was to generate maps for future us. as of right now, the car is at 7psi making 527whp. the 575 run was great and we're not worried about it to be honest. She's running very strong, issue free.

NYBladeZ 02-15-2012 10:46 PM

you do know that they have graphs of 651whp right? Stock internals on the VQ37 making 651whp! I think we all underestimated the potential of the motor. Yes, I know you can't run that power all the time but if its safe enough for sporadic and infrequent use, that would be wicked.

Tuning is a hell of a factor. :tiphat:

Yea especially if you have uprev and cruise control you can have each tune...
