I thought I was done

Well I thought I was done with my car when I started looking at these F.I. threads which led to calling people and checking prices and so on and so on.

So now I call Sam @ GTM and talked to him on and off for about 2 weeks and today I called Sam and ordered a Stage 1 Supercharger turn key,25 row auto trans cooler, and a oil cooler relocation kit and he told me I will have it in 2-3 weeks.

This will be the icing on the cake, this kit is going to make my car come to life,I'm going to install this in myself(I have been working on cars for 26yrs)and when I'm done drive over to Z1 and let John check the tune & tune the trans.

I'm really happy I bought this:tup:

Are you going to do a thread showing your install?

HKYStormFront 02-08-2012 08:50 PM

awesome!! :woot: can't wait to see it done!

370ZilverZ 02-08-2012 08:55 PM

:tup:I know mine will never be done, probably not even after I supercharge it some day. I hope you put together an install thread or add in journal. More horses are always good!

Probably not it's really not any different than others you seen plus I will be doing this on the weekends and after work during the week.

Sam sent me the instructions really some of the best I've seen it really isn't that bad just time consuming.

What made you decide stage 1 over 2?

that actually makes no differences imo! even with the stage 2 you can run a larger pulley to make the same boost levels as the stage 1 yet you still have room to grow with the stage 2. also, you get to keep your windshield washer bottle with the stage 2 whereas the stage 1 you will have to sacrifice it.

nonetheless congrats with the purchase!

well congrats on getting the SC, hope the rest goes well, altho i would suggest you tow the car to Z1 since it's probably not the best idea to drive a car that is untuned unless they are just down the road from you

The turn key kit comes with software from Sam with a Uprev map for the Supercharger, I just want John @ Z1 to check it to tune the trans line pressure.
