What exhaust are sc/tt running?

I'm planning on supercharging or twin turbo'ing the car in a year or two. Just wondering what exhaust these cars are running because I plan on upgrading my exhaust, and I figure I might as well get the one I'm gonna need in a year or so now.

SC can run almost any aftermarket or even OEM exhaust.
TT will depend on what your goals are. Do you want 400-450whp? Then a good 2.5" exhaust will work and not restrict or cause heating issues, but after those numbers I would start to look at a good 3" exhaust.

Also, Stage I GTM SC - F.I. 12" res exhaust is what I am running.

I currently have a F.I. TDX w/ 18" resonators. Greddy TT installed and waiting on a F.I. TDX, 3" version. My alternate exhaust choice is the Greddy TiC which is 2.75".

On a side note, if you are going to go the TT route, I would hold off to see the results from the F.I. TT kit. For SC, some have done well with Stillen, but most have gone with GTM (there are other options, but my require some custom work).

Are you leaning toward one forced induction option over another? If so, what is your goal? That may help folks give you options............Good Luck!

Great info! Thanks guys. I'm definitely leaning towards tt, but with the much lower pricing of the sc's i'm not counting them out. F.I. makes a 3" exhaust? I didn't know that, or a twin turbo kit. Or is this all in the makings?

TerribleONE 12-30-2011 01:10 PM

Agreed holding off for F.Is kit. It will be worth it trust me!

You can get a 3in FI exhaust now, Tony is making one for me and some other guys.

ccdominic 12-30-2011 01:23 PM

I'll definitely be looking into that 3" F.I. Are they developing a tt kit? If so my car just may end up being fully FI'd out.

TerribleONE 12-30-2011 01:31 PM

They are. Tony is gonna have my car end of January and hopes for a summer release to all you guys.

Ron 12-30-2011 01:31 PM

They are, last I heard from Tony was they want to release it about 6mos from now. But you know how new product launches are, it might take a bit longer.

Not true... I would say he should have no problem finishing by June.

ccdominic 12-30-2011 01:36 PM

Ah that's perfect. After I save up a little and get that 3" FI and long tube headers, next summer should be about enough time to save up and get that FI TT kit. Looks like i'm gonna be pretty FI'd out

What is not true? That new product releases usually take a bit longer than planned bc of unexpected events?

Skip the LTH if you are TT.

If you are going the TT route then I dont think you need Long tube headers since you will have to change that out with TT's you would need HFC's or test pipes though.
