Axel clicking on FI cars

Anybody out there getting the axel clicking on their FI cars?

I had the axel clicking problem on the 350. Got it fixed twice and then just lived with it...

Is this the same problem or is something else going on? Did the dealer deny you warranty work based on the FI???

My axels are clicking in forwards and reverse now (9K of FI) and I have seen a couple of threads about people getting the clicking fixed by dealers.

Sound like CV's?

Nope. it is just a little clicking sound when you accelerate from a stop in either forwards or backwards.

The old 350 had the same problem...

I thought the 350z tsb called for lubing a bearing and replacing the outer axle joints. Could be wrong, been a while since I've seen it.

Given that I don't believe there is a tsb for the 370, and FI is known to wreak havoc on those joints, i think it's a tough sell. Only one way to find out for sure though.

It was hard to tell what the dealership did each time you brought it in...

Mine never did stay fixed..

Looks like procedure was generally to replace them.
