wow, there are alot of questions getting thrown out at Sam. Looks like this stage 2 SC is going to be huge on the forum.

An overlay dyno graph with both stage 2 SC and TT under the same boost would be nice to see. Then we can get a solid idea on what the TQ/HP curves look like between them.

This has been done already. Not on the latest dyno he has shown but on the last batch of test.

1- Is the SC price going to be raised up?

2- Do the SC quite the exhaust a little bit like the turbo does? because I might swap the HFCs with TPs if so.

1. Seems that way.
2. Doubt it. The reason a turbo quiets the exhaust is that it is in the path of the exhaust. A SC is totally removed from the exhaust.

Here is some pics of production parts for Stage 2 system.

How many kits will be available on the first run?

frostyrock7c 07-14-2011 09:32 PM

I just got a little more excited about all this after seeing those.

Sam, you said production parts so I am guessing (and hoping) these are included with the kit?

Our production runs are always 50 kits minimum at a time .

You mean 49 less the one for me :-)

This might be a dumb question, but is there anything adverse to the geometry or handling when you move the engine slightly? As in using motor mounts? (assuming you are using them to adjust the loaction of the motor to clear certain parts)

G37sHKS 07-15-2011 08:59 AM

Isnt its unsafely to reduce engine movement?

I mean things wont break up after long period? I might be wrong though.

^^^^ this also

We are not moving or relocating the engine, Even if we wanted to do that we could not do it. not sure where you got this idea from .

We are implementing more compact and stronger engine mounts to gain more room and better clearance around the supercharger .

Also using urethane motor mounts is very common upgrade .

Sam

And here is a pic of the factory motor mount.
