Interesting setup. The 928 motorsports impeller was used for greater perfomance / efficiency or just a better quality product?

I'm in for the (expected) melt-down!!

It was changed for performance.

Roger that. Sounds good so far. Guess we will see how it all works out in the future.........

Awesome results man! I want to know about the impeller too!

Interesting that we are pretty close hp wise, but you have a bit more torque! I think my numbers were 455/335 on STD Dynojet.

Thanks man the impeller has been ran on Vortech 350z's for a while now I am the first 370z to do one. As far as power goes I am done for now I have other plans right now.

Yeah I seen your post and your SAE dyno graph I compared our SAE numbers and the power more under the curve my SAE number's are 450WHP and 350tq. Yours were 432whp and 324tq. Also your car has stillen's 9 pound pulley I still have there 8 pound on the front and no headers.

I also remember you saying STD for your car was 455 WHP in your journal If you want more info on the impeller check out the link.

Yep, sounds about right too since my dyno was at 9psi and you're making 10.5-11psi. Its actually really good that you did this because now I know what would happen if I moved up to a 10psi pulley. Looks like its worth a solid 20whp/25wtq for the extra boost.

Right now my car doesnt make a steady 10-11 its weard its more in the 9-10range with a spike here and there. I ran out of MAF' voltage as well at 6900 rpm. The impeller alone would make a difference on your car with power under the curve. Later on I am going to try a different intake set up but for now I am happy.

As far as boost goes I dont see any problem running more boost as long as the tune is good with the supercharger peak boost is up stairs for a quick sec anyway.

How hard is it to replace the impeller? PM'ing you, got some other stuff to discuss :)

Vince@R/T 04-07-2011 01:11 PM

Looks great Cliff was excited with out things turned out yesterday as well!!!!!

I wanna do what we talked about yesterday about the piping as well as add an IAT gauge after the stillin after cooler to get a true value of IAT. From there we should be able to see if we have room to run a lil more boost and maybe upgrade the front heat exchanger as well.:tup:
