YouTube - 2010 Nissan Nismo 370z Single STS Turbo rolling start

If the video was longer and showed the Nismo rolling slowly next to the camera car I'd be more inclined to believe it. Either way... NICE.

Sweeeet exhaust note! That's what I want!

JB-370z 10-23-2010 01:11 PM

Looks fast

Im thinking thats the Red Nismo in Austin who was tuned at uprev, Not sure if he is a member. But damn, that car looks pretty quick. Nice find!

Those vids are sped up. Our exhaust notes don't sound that high... Prob at 1.5x so u can't really tell it's been altered.

christian370z 10-23-2010 02:36 PM

^That's what I thought, it sounded way too high even if they had tuned it for an 8k redline. That looks beastly though, maybe a bit more FI variety in our aftermarket might bring some price reductions with the added competition.

RCZ 10-23-2010 02:49 PM

hmm, I like the exhaust note. I dont know if it is sped up, but it sounds a lot like that 350z with the longtubes.

whoady4shoady 10-23-2010 03:07 PM

Damn, I was hoping it wasnt sped up, cause I love the exhaust note.

Boost_lee 10-23-2010 03:21 PM

I'm not sure if its sped up either, but could it be the combination of the atmospheric wastegate dumping out of the left exhaust tip and the type/thickness of the metal used for the piping?

Q8y_drifter 10-24-2010 05:40 PM

WTH thats not sped up. That's how it sounds. Look at all the videos. Plus the turbo in the rear would alter the sound completely.

Push370zzz 10-25-2010 05:05 PM

yeah that is not sped up, if it were the video would probably look much smoother as well since the frame rate would be upped

Frame rate would get chopped by the editor or by youtube. Youtube chops my 60fps videos back to 30fps. But the high pitch is probably from the turbo setup and short pipe coming out of it.
