and now after I re-read that, xbigb4ller69z you really should get a boost controller. Look into the evc-s very inexpensive and it gets the job done.

And here is the majic little button I am talking about:
HKS EVC SBC Trigger All you need is a HKS EVC-S or EVC5 or 6. Just program how much boost you want to add when you press the button and for how to hold that boost setting until it goes back to default boost. ;) http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/ntnsracing_2133_1136396 http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/ntnsracing_2128_404220213 |

So the way I look at it now, me and RCz car would be competative, because I have no other facts to prove other wise. Also TBH thats fine with me if 460 is my max power because my goal was 450-500. Frank |
Thats just nuts! With a stage 2 kit 550 should not be hard to hit at all! I have two tunes, a conservative tune and one with a little more agressive timmings.

Boost controller or not, the car is going to be fast enough for me... eventually I'll get used to it, and buy a boost controller. The kit was sent with 8PSI, I'm basing 7 PSI because typically you lose about a pound. My goal is to be in the mid 400's with my current setup on a MUSTANG dyno. If I get it, great... if not, then I'll buy a boost controller and then I'll come after RCZ, in a push of a button... haha :stirthepot:

Well, this was supposed to stay under wraps, but in the future, I will be able to push a magic button too and guess what? I will have more boost than you turbo folks from 2500rpm to redline. How do you like them apples? :p You know you can run wastegates and a boost controller on a supercharger too right? Yeah, what now? :stirthepot: |
Nitrous :driving: :eekdance:

Don't know what kind of dyno's at Z1 but I get about 512 at just over 8PSI on 93 octane. Have boost controller and MAF meter. This with Stillen exhaust and HFC. When I get new clutch (Spring) I want to dial in 10 for about 540 WHP. John at Z1 has pics on his gallery and can back up numbers. BTW do NOT drop the hammer in cold weather (42 degrees) unless you like going sideways, this with an LSD. :-)

The car sounded freakin sick on the dyno!

Nice effin numbers, 455 is pretty good on that dyno... |

I know, they did 3 or 4 runs. The highest was 455 whp... I'm pretty happy with the numbers... :tiphat: |
Another fantastic install from Jnaut tuned and ready for action!... enjoy! |
Holy hell, that is a beast! Wow.

I'm in Orlando just crying for a ride.:hello:

Jason, thanks for everything as well. The car is a beast... I was crusing on the Turnpike at right around 90-100mph for two 1/2 straight hours. Oil temps were right around 175-185. The best thing about this car is that you have the best of both worlds. Stock feel ( if under boost of course ) and then you have the retarded fast mode once you're on boost. So far I'm very happy with the turn out of everything. :tiphat: |

O MY A GOD!!!!! JEALOUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Cars sounds sick. Great numbers. Everytime I see a TT 370Z it makes me save money more and more. Best of Luck with yours.
|
Congrats man. the car is freakin ridonculous.
|
I just got back from florida and i went for a ride in that badAZZ sleeper Z. When your just crusin it's super quite not much louder than stock, my still/berk CBE/HFC sounds louder. But then when you get on it that beast comes ALIVE, it was F#^king awsome. Thanks for the ride and going out of your way to meet up with me late as hell even though you had to get up for work in like 5 hours. xbigb4ller69z is one of the coolest guys i've met on the forum so far thanks again. It was completely worth the ten hour drive to check it out... o yeah disney so cool too.
|
Does anyone know exactly what turbos they're using with this kit? Appears to be a GT2871R variant, most likely with the 0.86 A/R turbine housing.
|
.86 is stage 2 you are right on the turbo the nick name for them is disco patato
