Topgunz Rotrex on Track

I'm considering taking my z out on track this year now that I've got my heat issues figured out. Anyone running this kit on track care to chime in with what boost you're running? Jonathan Wheeler is running like 6-8 psi if I remember correctly.

I could be wrong but I thought Jonathan bumped up the boost when he installed the forged motor

See if you can find Ian Bradney (located in Albury Australia) here or on FB as he runs a quick SC Z34 here in Australia. Self built engine with 15psi SC (400Kw atw) and he has "lots" of experience with SC track cars (including how to "life" and boosted engine).

If you cannot find him, PM me and I'll put you in touch.

The smart move would be to run a wastegate and electronic boost controller. Then you could set your boost to accommodate the track you're running at

I quit FB a while back. Do you know his handle on here? I’m probably not going the built engine route but he sounds like a wealth of knowledge.

My installer added a wastegate and I’m able to set boost by changing out the spring on it. I’m on the 12psi spring right now but I believe the low-boost options jump from 2psi to 6 and then roughly go up 1psi at a time.
