Those things are nice but realistically how many people at the track actually have all that and this is his first track experience (if I read right). Odds are he will need a lot of track time before he’s even near pushing it to the limits to require all that. Just get the car in a comfortable spot and learn slow and safe.

You're right, that's why I didn't list them as mandatory or even very useful. It was suggested to get sway bars too but I though any one of those would be money better spent initially. |
