I’m in Northlake, TX. Not far from y’all. ‘16 Pearl white NISMO. Still has exhaust (full FI for that matter), not salvage title, Admin won’t touch my car with a 30ft pole, and only 45k miles.

So... how does the kit sound? Is there any of the pissed-off-tweety-bird zero boost BOV flutter? I'm running Aarons Gen II Ace kit & I have that flutter really bad. I'm considering upgrading to this kit, but def don't want the flutter.

I know you prefer to hear this from the customers mouth instead of the manufacturer. But, yes it is near non-existent. John Wheeler is the only person to say he can hear it when he tries (or at least has fed that information back to me).

If you want that noise gone on the Ace kit, then add that K&N pancake filter (RX-4130-1) on there and it will be next to gone also, at the expense of some power and needing to remove and reinstall the kit for install and cleaning.

This noise was a non issue on my Gen 1 kits because I sent every kit with that K&N filter and everyone used it and everyone was very happy. Up until 600whp became the new norm and everyone wanted to run just a turboguard to get there :eekdance:

When my car was making 680whp @ close to 17 psi with the V3 and turboguard, it had zero bov flutter. It wasn't until I went to the V2 and 19 psi did that I get flutter and it was bad.

No offensive sounds. Supercharger whine is audible but I like that sound. BOV exhaust is audible as well but I wouldn’t say it sounds bad.

By this response it appears he isn't aware of the sound you guys are describing, meaning, its not prevalent enough to be audible.

The BOV sound he is referring to is the straight "Afterburner" dump.

This has nothing to do with Topgunz Supercharger kit but I put some new wheels on today.

Also, looking for opinions on HKS Hipower exhaust system. This Greddy is too loud and drones excessively at 3k rpm. Gotta go.

I have the Hi Power on my car and love it. Not loud and has a nice tone to it with no drone either.

Did you ever get this on a Dyno?

Not yet but still on the “to-do list”.

Any idea where you want to get it dyno'd at? I got my ECUTek tune done at AWD Tuning in Flower Mound. Keith Fields was super awesome, and beyond knowledgable on the platform.

Few updates since my last post. I finally had enough of the Greddy Dual exhaust with the drone at 3K RPM and the exhaust frequency rattling interior panels. I found a good deal on a HKS Hi Power kit online and pulled the trigger. Car is much more enjoyable to drive around now. Still sounds pretty great in my opinion when engaged in spirited driving and normal cruising around I can hear the radio.

Another update is the addition of a Tial Wastegate on the charge pipe. This was recommended by Eugene since I have been having issues with the BOV releasing boost on a pull. Was getting boost spike and the safety features Eugene built into the tune was intervening and cutting power. After multiple tweaks on my car, and other Rotrex cars Eugene is tuning, he determined this would be a good addition. I installed it over the weekend and I'm waiting on a tune revision to get it all dialed in. I have the Black/Red springs in the wastegate for 14.5psi setting.

Other than that car is running good. No issues from the Topgunz kit and I'm averaging E-80 at the pump. Once this wastegate gets dialed in I'll take car up to the dyno near my house and see what I got...

A Kwikkar Garage in Frisco near my house has a Dynojet that I can get some pulls on. No tuning or anything just pulls to get a graph and check WHP.

BOV relocation looks good! I'm looking into this on my rotrex kit now as been having some overheating problems on track. Also going to play around with some ducting direct to the radiator

Run less boost and like you said try ducting. My buddy’s TT 550whp Z didn’t have overheating issues.
