We are about to find out very soon. If it has any noise, I will create a fix. Guaranteed.

TopGunz- Did you ever get the parts you were waiting for to quieten down the flutter?

The Rotrex kit has ZERO flutter noise. I think this may have something to do with the fact that it is running a full cone filter and that creates enough restriction and muffle affect that it is not audible.

I have the muffler here for the ACE and it does quiet it down some. But it is still audible.

The ACE kit would be much quieter if you were to run the K&N filter, but it would come at a couple of psi loss.

So which is the proposed fix? I don’t have an interest in upgrading to the Rotrex for quite some time since it’s a costly upgrade. There’s gotta be a fix that reduces the noise drastically and doesn’t impinge the power.

Even if the noise is still audible but greatly reduced without dropping power, I’ll take it. I’ve had this kit since November and love it, but it’s been more than half a year of proposed fixes…that just culminated in switching to a Rotrex…

I have the custom SOHO intake on the car now and mine does this but at a lower rpm while cruising, I posted a new thread asking about this exact noise.

I dont know what spring is in my QRJ but its a very annoying noise while just cruising around... guess its just the way it is...
