Doesn’t hurt to see if folks are willing to make the drive or have the car shipped.

Probably a little too late for this since the production piece is already made, but thoughts about making the inlet of the intake manifold where it meets to the throttle body larger to fit a 75mm 2009-2014 Nissan Maxima throttle body so boosted guys can have a 75mm (3 inch) going all the way from the intercooler through the intake pipe through the Maxima throttle body all the way into the intake manifold?

Maybe I'm just talking nonsense.

It would a pointless mod. You won’t gain anything from it.

I've been trying to do some more research into this.

It makes sense that it should increase throttle response and bring boost in earlier, even if there are no real peaks gains to be had. That said, there are 3 TB kits out there and they've all had the same issues(crazy cold starts, rev hang, idle surge), and too many reports of those issues for me to make that jump.

Also, I think we added #9 to the list. @kingsilvia on IG, not sure if he's a forum member or not.

It’s not going to bring boost in earlier. You want to increase turbo response, increase displacement, move to a smaller turbo, Tuning will take care of throttle response.

The only reason I would go to a larger throttle body is if they were the reason for a restriction and changing them out would correct that issue. It can be measured via a boost gauge before and after the throttle body. I just don't see a need in doing so at this time. I have a few other restriction issues that would need to be fixed first.

The only real benefit is that it is added insurance of a manifold failure as the waffle is pretty dang efficient up to a point. My only real reason for jumping in is because I have the funds to do it and I try and over build everything. Why....because racecar!!!:driving:

The problem comes when you need it and don't have it. You will pay a premium to get it. Unless you pick it up now with everybody else.

If the IG guy falls through, I'll take the 10th spot.

Just say the word; as I’m sure the cutoff isn’t 10, that’s just the minimum
