I'll reach out to them and see what they are about. What is done to your Z if you don't mind me asking?

Spooler 01-05-2021 07:59 AM

Set aside a couple of weeks to read it all and watch the videos.

1)Listen to Spooler....he's done more for FI on this platform than most others on this forum, or any other that I am aware of.
a)Read his build thread and learn, learn, learn!!!
2)Cut once, cry once, go to MA and spend the extra money on a proper pump to support those 1300's.
3)Hoon until you rebuild.

I just dropped Jon a text to let him know you would be contacting him. Another Derrick for his long list of Derek, Derrick, and Derick customers. LOL, They have a lot.

I just do me. I don't know any other way. Some folks like it, some folks don't. I posted it to help folks learn and save themselves the heartache.

Funny story, When Dalen move back home and Jon took over. He had to figure out which Derrick I was. They have 3 customers with them name Derrick.

I live in Maryland. There is a reputable shop outside of Baltimore called Hills Garage. They specialize in Nissan/Infiniti's.

Brother, you'll be well taken care of at Hill's frank knows his stuff!! Ask to see Zach's car build...Solid deck block, crazy fuel system, boosted performance 68/71 lots of goodies to get some ideas,

For all my F.I. folks, I plan on getting my 370z boosted this summer. I've been seeing a lot of videos on YouTube in which some 370z's are touching between 600-700whp on the stock block. My main concern is how reliable my block will be running the numbers I have planned short-term before building the motor down the road. My mods for this build are as follows:

BP Turbo kit (COMP 6467 Turbo)
CJM S1.SE Fuel Return System
IDX 1300CC injectors
AEM 340 lph Fuel Pump
Tomei Catback Exhaust
Zspeed Stage 3 clutch w/ lightweight flywheel

I intend to run 10.5 psi off wastegate spring and E85. My goal is to be in the 500-550whp and 450-520tq. range. I'm sure this will be easily obtainable with the help of my tuner. I feel this is a conservative power goal. The kicker is my engine is at 138k miles (mainly highway) and will slightly increase as I recently just bought a new daily. I have not done a compression test, although, I do feel the motor is still fairly healthy. I need opinions and feedback on if my motor will be fairly reliable for the time being until I do an engine rebuild down the road. Any feedback is welcomed, negative or positive. Thanks!

Everything you have listed except for the fuel pump and the Exhaust is almost exactly just like my build except I have FI Exhaust and a twin pump CJM Assembly and a new 2020Z mine made 565@11psi Tuned @Dynosty Daily Driver for me pump gas only for now.

How was your experience @ Dynosty? I'm considering having them tune my TopGunZ Rotrex kit once I get it installed. I'm stock block, 93 octane. Similar to your build, other than the boost source.

Thanks Spooler. I know you've had a good bit of work done @ MA. I'm in Pittsburgh & MA is actually a bit closer to me. I'm trying to decide between those two, and possibly also R/T Tuning in Philly.
