Using SOHO intercooler with the Topgunz A2A Kit

The topgunz intercooler works ok with the stock pulley but heatsoaks rather quickly once you add more boost. My IATs were jumping up 40-50 degrees above ambient at 11PSI after a few pulls. I thought about maybe using the SOHO intercooler with the topgunz piping and was wondering if anyone else here has done it. I would think it would be small modifications to make it fit like using different couplers maybe?

Very minor modifications as we currently have a few clients who have installed our intercooler with the topgunz kit. Once they have confirmed with us we can inform you of the changes.

When I had been making 12 psi I was only seeing 20 degrees above ambient. Theres a video of those pulls and the live intake temp reading on the thread somewhere.

Even if you are 40 degrees above ambient then that isnt a big deal. All these domestic cars like mustangs, vettes, etc.. with big PD blowers are seeing 200+ intake temps.

The VQ cant handle anything past 11psi on pump gas anyway so if you want to surpass that you need E85 to ward off knock and E85 runs so incredibly cool vs pump that 40 degrees becomes a ZERO issue.

There are guys making 600+whp with my kit and have never had an issue with heat. The need to upgrade and pay all that money just doesn't make sense. Even if you did and it brought it down by half (which I doubt it would, its not that much bigger) you would "maybe" make like 5 more HP. Not worth it.

I think the intercooler is about 2" wider than the one you have.
