Additionally we already had rented a dyno a few weeks ago and spent an entire day getting everything settled. Right now we are working on the extras. Once that’s done we will go for final numbers... at 46psi conservatively we are at 1300whp based on our already dyno numbers

Can you post the 46 psi Dyno that you have?

OP,

I have found that the chassis is more compliant at around 700whp. Anything above this and it starts to become a handful to drive. You can get a lot of miles out of a 700whp setup. A good solid motor build will get you up to 700-800whp+. You will want a closed deck block with anything over 20psi. Most if not 90+% of the guys running big power are on a closed deck block.

:D

My build is a middle of the road build. I am cool with that. 4 years ago it would not have been. I will see how my car does and go from there. I need
some data and time behind the wheel. I have a couple of more things I want to do but I want to see how I use the car first. It may do everything I want and then some. We shall see. Good luck with your build. Sounds like you have just about wrapped it up for the 3rd or 4th time. How many iterations has it been?

I’m not getting into this here. I never said we dyno’d The 46psi. I only mentioned our testing for custom maps. The turbos are the same turbos that a big name Gtr company we’re running for 1400whp. I have the logs of the car doing 46psi... this isn’t a big deal.

I have built the car 4 times with different setups. Each time we learn something new. Honestly, I am done chasing numbers. I have driven this car at this high of power and can tell you while it’s fun the chassis does not like it. I will build another Z and keep it around 600-700whp.

I remember you telling me that 3 years ago. It stuck. I went a little more than I should but it's a boosted car. I can just turn it down a bit.
