Who still makes a supercharge kit?

I am looking to buy a like-new used kit.

From what I can tell Stillen still makes a kit (new) but I don’t want a Stillen kit as I’ve seen dyno sheets of them after being tuned and it’s not impressive (low - mid 400 whp) for a 7k new kit. So not looking for a used Stillen kit.

Trying to gather info as I plan to go SC soon! I saw GTM 1.5 kit that makes 500-550 WHP and that’s what I’m going for as I can see a 7A 370z safety running 500-550 WHP. But from what I saw GTM went out of business or no longer sales the kit new or offers warranty, correct?

So is there any other good / reliable kits I can buy used, that make 500-550 whp?
And what price should I look at spending on a good lightly used like new kit?

Who even makes a SC kit for our platform? Only GTM and Stillen. Please list all companies/ pricing for SC kit?

Thanks in advance!

I am making 504whp on stillens kit with Topgunz A2A conversion. But now he sells a complete kit with upgraded goodies already. Best bang for your buck

Is that on 93 octane?

Look for a good used gamma sc kit if you can find one, they are amazing kits, and u can still get parts thru rotrex.com and other manufactures if you do you’re research. I would have sold you mine but now there releasing a c38r sc unit that hopefully allow for even more boost so I don’t have to go turbo.

Ok cool. GTM is now Gamma from what I’ve researched, correct? So if I could find a GTM/Gamma 1.5 kit if I was lacking any parts or need replacement parts Rotrex.com has them? If so, Sweet! Great to know!

Sweet! $6000 full kit. Looks like that doesn’t include the 340 or bigger LPH or injectors though? Correct?

Also is TopGunz just a Stillen with upgraded parts? So if I could find a used TopGunz or used Stillen for a good price and buy the upgrade parts before install. I could make 500+ whp. Good to know, if true!!

Gamma also no longer exists but maybe somebody has a used kit out there.

Does not include injectors or fuel system. And yes it's a Stillen kit with an a2a upgrade. Mine's making 540hp on e85. It'll be over 600 when I do my pulley upgrade in June.

What kind of fuel system are you running?
Did you upgrade to the CJM S1-SE or still running the stock fuel pump from Stillen SC Kit?

I'm planning to upgrade my blower with the 928 super vortech upgrade -- going to send it in next week hopefully. I am going to isolate the blower this week and send it in next week.

That way I can do a triple pulley swap for more boost:
3.0", 3.47", and 9 psi pulley.

The fuel system I will be running will be 1050x ID, while keeping the modified bucket from Stillen SC kit and keeping the fuel lines the same for now until necessary to upgrade it.

Assuming I do all of this, in conjunction with Topz A2A kit on a 7 AT, what kind of whp should I be safely expecting on 91 oct? How about e85?
I hope at least 500whp?

I'm running the CJM S1-SE with a Walbro 450 and ID 1050x injectors. Also, have the 9 psi pulley. I'm making 472 on 91 and 540 on e85. That's @ 10 psi. That's on a safe tune. I'm going to do the 2.87 sc pulley change in June and see what I'll do.

Your results will vary depending how far your tuner want's to push it.

Do you highly recommend that I get the CJM S1-SE system or, in your opinion, do you think it is okay to run the way I have it set up at the moment (With the 1050x IDs, and the stock stillen modified fuel bucket upgrade?)

Or I guess my question is:
When do you think it is absolutely necessary to run the CJM S1-SE System?

Personally, I would upgrade now and get the CJM billet hat also. If you plan on running e85 now, I would get the Walbro 450 too. I wouldn't use any of the Stillen fuel system components. You don't want to be fuel starved. When I bought my kit from Stillen, I ordered it without the fuel system or water to air crap. My intake manifold was gutted just like what Topgunz will be selling with his kit.

Oh, I plan on running 91 octane for now.
I will ease into the e85 after the new engine is broken into, and data log it weekly to fine-tune it, adjusting things as necessary.

If it comes down to it, I will definitely get the S1-SE system.
For now, we'll see how it goes in May :)

I will keep updating the thread AND adding events in the timeline as they occur both good and bad.

Thanks for your advice sir! I appreciate it and will definitely take it into consideration!!

Hopefully, some others will chime in as I'm far from an expert. The last thing I would want to do is grenade a brand new built motor.

Well guess I’ll be on the look out for a good used Gamma / GTM 1.5 kit and if I need additional/ replacements parts I’ll check that site. Or look for a good used Stillen with upgraded A2A add on!

Anyone know of anyone with a good used kit? Also what’s install like on the SC kits? Seems pretty straight forward. Not like TT setup and pulling motor. I’m a gear head and do all my own work. So I know it’s done right.

So how hard of a job is it with the proper instructions & tools? Also do the kits come with a canned tune so the car is driveable or do I need to trailer it get it tuned via UpRev or other tuning software? Looking for general info here and possible used kits if anyone knows!
