New Rotrex C38R Supercharger

Is anyone with a GTM/Gamma supercharger kit thinking about getting one of these? My C38-81 is still going strong but I'm tempted to build the motor and get one of these when they come out :stirthepot:

I saw this a few weeks ago and posted. I had a similar idea and no one caught onto it.

Oh I'm sorry, I should have searched more! I'm excited about this though, it would be nice to have the option to go for more power with a built motor/e85

Wow that is pretty sweet...i may have to upgrade but my gtm 1.5 is doing well for now

I'm looking for someone who's parting ways with their kit.

Someone needs to take the gtm/gamma supercharger kit and re-engineer it for the masses again. Anyone with a CNC machine interested? :)

somewhere out there is a disgruntled ex employee with all the CAD files and a price in mind. I know because he called me anonymously a few years ago to offer.

Was the offer crazy bad? Can't you get someone with a kit to stop in to get jigs made?

I am not sure what they wanted, I declined interest in it.

Yes we could reverse engineer it, but I dont think its something we want to get involved with here.

if someone had a 3-d scanner you could simply turn each part into a 3-d solid model for fabrication. Just need someone to lone each component.

Charles maybe?

That's the sad part, the kit is great but their business practices ruined it. It'd be cool if someone remade it but I feel like theres too many good turbo kits available already for it to be worth it

Just comes down to price point and what people want out of their car. Between all the blowers and extra parts i bought for my sc kit im at the same price point of a twin turbo system. the reason i went sc route was the fact i can still work on the car. i dont have the tools or $$ to drop the motor if problems occur, and they will. imo i still think there is a market for sc systems

I’m planning on upgrading to the c38r ....should be a very competitive upgrade and yield 15lbs plus boost pretty easy. I wouldn’t think the price point would be over 9k which would be a good competitor to stillen kit ....for the money i still think the boosted performance kit is the best hp to money kit ....I currently have the GTM kit on my 2015 and the boosted performance kit on my 2017.... the BP kit is a beast ...but I think the c38r will close the gap if not equal it. Finger crossed lol
