What does your boost read at idle? My stock manifold MAP sensor has been reading 3 bars fluctuating between 3.5 and 2.9 volts, while my secondary Innovate is reading -.2 bar. Seb is asking me about my MAP, thought it was working before so not convinced that the MAP itself is the problem but I guess I'll just go ahead and order the OMNI since they say it's better for various altitude driving which I could definitely be doing give or take 6,000'. So obviously my stock MAP reads sky high at idle, and my Innovate seems to read low for idle (I would think) -2psi vacuum seems low for 500rpms.

It's not fault. It's pioneering. Someone has to push the limits to find the weak points in everything. Those are the guys that should get credit, not scorned.

You guys are right, we shouldn't turn this into a blaming/shaming game.
I fully agree to push your limits in life and learn from any mistakes you make. It's great that people here have done this in the past and share knowledge so that others can learn and we as a community do not make the same mistakes over and over again. I guess my comment was lead by the assumption that the boost level of the Stillen kit was pushed way over the ~8psi level by the owner/shop - whilst by now in 2018 it's common knowledge that this will get you into serious trouble. What I meant was that Stillen is also not always to bash and blame. I know a few people running the kit reliably on 8psi for several years now. It's shame Stillen didnt use the feedback they get from the market for a redesign of their product - like some vendors here are doing (Aaron, or Sasha with by now v3 of his BP kit, etc). The worst part of TopZ kits is the cost of rear tires. 6K miles on my first set of RE-11. Luckily I caught them on sale at Tire Rack a couple of weeks ago. ~$700 for 6K miles of fun.......worth every penny!
6K miles with the A2A (yes, I know that is another thread) and the car runs great! |

However, I imagine the fix isnt too dificult. Looks like you need to extend the L pipe off the hot side about 6" straight then the turn on the Y pipe would get cut off and would need another 6" straight and probably a different angled coupler. Bring your car over, Ill get it to fit. :tup: |
