Had quite of a delay. Delivered a baby boy, so the Z project was put to the side a bit. I was working with Seb on some tunes and I ended up going back to the OE Stillen set up and just building a shield to block air to the front filter.


Reason for going back was the intercooler pipe was welded decently, but the MAF flanges were not. The passenger size MAF flange was put too close to the bend + weld bead, that MAF was reporting much less air flow than the driver's side.

As a basic test, I added an OEM MAF with a coupler towards the end of that bank and they were even. I will save this project for next year and just cruise around with Sebs tunes for now.

I punted on this project. I tried to get another place to weld the pipes but airflow was never perfect. Like everyone said. Was a great learning experience for sure. It was comparable to the Stillen pipe that came with the original kit, but just wasn't worth the extra effort. Very tight space there. I just went to TopGunz v1 A-A kit.
