700whp... so jelly. Build looks AMAZING.

Currently its a core + mounting kit, which is in stock and available for the DIY crowd who wants to get a sandwich and make the hoses like Justin did. But I was waiting to post it until I had a 100% complete kit since there are already so many options available.

Ive never *loved* the act of routing the oil cooler hoses to the core in these cars, and I wanted to come up with something unique and special. Maybe some sections of hard pipe, maybe a custom billet bulkhead for the core support. I dont know, just something that made the whole thing "cleaner" and less "well that should suffice".

Will I come up with anything better? I dont know yet. I just restarted my personal 370z project and when I go to install this oil cooler to it, I will decide how I want to wrap it up. Justin wasnt about to wait a month for me to decide how I want to make oil cooler lines, but with my car I have all the time in the world :rofl2:

The fabrication was done by Matt, who is the fabricator that builds the manifolds here for CJM.

Manifolds and downpipes (with external or recirculating dumps) are already available and have been sold/shipped to some customers.

The massive intercooler with upper tubes (to the throttles) is the next component to become available. This intercooler kit is expected to fit almost all forced induction options for the 370z, so it will also be available as a standalone product that users could purchase to upgrade their existing system.

What would be left to complete a turbo system would be the air filter tubes and the lower IC pipes. I am still on the fence about offering those. There isnt a need for another complete twin turbo kit. To over saturate the market waters down the R&D and value of everyone's product and doesn't really help the scene. Doing the fabricated style manifolds and downpipes for shops and customers who have the means to build the rest, I felt, was more like filling a void rather than creating a competing option.

It was never my goal to be in the complete kit race, and my business is not prepared to handle the support needs of customers purchasing a complete twin turbo kit. We will see where the future takes us... but at this snapshot in time, it is not a target. On top of all this said, I see it like this: I can spend a bunch of resources on making this a complete kit with every last nut and bolt, full instructions, etc etc... or I can use those resources to finish my billet intake manifold. Which option will more benefit the community and vendors?

Pretty damn impressive

Awesome stuff. Charles (Phunk) always amazing craftsmanship.

InitialC 06-18-2017 06:39 PM

This is awesome to see! Planning on putting an FI TT kit on my G and Lance was telling me that Charles (and CJ Motorsports) will be his recommendation for install. Glad to see some real time feedback and your work. Look forward to meeting you Charles!

Streetz congrats on the build bro!

Charles's parts are simply amazing! It is a shame that most of them are rarely seen because of where the go on our cars. Highly recommend CJM!

This is awesome. Good work guys. I'm so jealous of those CJM manifolds!

Post up some videos! :D

 That is sooo badass! That intercooler is huuuge! Love the oil cooler and wouldn't mind getting it to replace the one i already have with the Fast Intentions twin turbo kit.

I have some pieces for the intercooler jig on order with the laser cutting guy and a couple cores here. As soon as we assemble the jig I want to get the intercooler kit ready for ordering

With all this so called "drag racing" going on, I decided to give it a try. Picked up some used 28x10.5 tires and stole Charles (Phunk) wheels when he wasn't looking. Loaded them up in the hatch and passenger seat, and drove up to GLD.

This was the second time that i was ever at a drag strip in my life (first time with my 370z) and landed a 10.88 @131mph. This was also with just normal 275/30/18 tires up front.

I've never logged my boost on the street (No gauges) so I'm going to do some logging this week and make sure I'm getting every PSI. Boost control was open loop and we lowered it by 5% before unloading off the dyno.

I think a 10.5 is in the near future if i get the time. Hats off to Hal and the crew at Dynosty for ruining my day ;).
