Supercharger air filter replacement
 

Does anyone know if there is other sources for a air filter for the GTM supercharger stage 2 other than gamma.....seems to be a difficult filter to find ...has anyone altered the intake pipe to fit alternative filters ....there is very little room in the location and the exhaust melted the first one ....only thing I can think of is to heat wrap the header and intake pipe

This is the one I was sent for the stage 1.5 kit which I am not sure if it is the same intake pipe from the filter.

Just realized dreamer posted the same thing as me yea it's that one that we use

I found that after I posted ... but I ordered the 2374 filter .... all specs are the same but it's base is 5.5 inches and the one you posted was 5.9 inches ....I'll be heat wrapping intake pipe and exhaust pipes when I get in there this time

When I have to re-order I plan to skip the 2311 and look for one which connects the same but is either shorter or tapers more for better fitment. Let us know how the 2374 works out.

It will be here this Friday ....I just noticed that it's not double coned like the original but shouldn't that much of a difference ....I hope lol

I have Green filter 2311... Fitment is fine. Does not rub.You have to turn the intake pipe to make it fit correctly without rubbing..

Question to the GTM 1.5ers what fuel injectors are you running? Brand & size?
I forgot, Jinxx is 2.0, & Dreamer is E85, .. So Dean... lol ,what injectors are you running?

New filter fit in perfect ... heat wrapped intake pipe from filter to supercharger .. heat wrapped bottom of header flush with filter ... I think I'll pull charge pipes off and wrap them as well .. not sure if it will help ... or if it will look bad ..

I'm using GTR injectors it's all you really need unless you go e85

I have almost all my pipes thermal coated including the intake piece for connected to the filter, only piece I have not done is the bend off the intercooler where my BPV sits as I plan to change it hopefully and might have that pipe re-built.

I am still on my GTR injectors also, until we do a re-tune for more boost and e85 which will be later this year. Other projects slow up my car mods and take funds away.
