my 300zx will be putting down more torque on the stock turbos with my mods.

Prolly due to the WG only boost, with a BCS of some sort they would pull in gobs of TRQ

In most N/A to Turbo cases, you're right. But the newer Nissans respond a bit differently to TT installs.

As far as emissions goes, our basic Twin Turbo Kit installs don't prompt any check engine lights from the ECU. For emissions testing, if you car doesn't have any ECU error codes, generally speaking, you're A OK. So emissions shouldn't be much of a problem.

State inspection, however, varies from state to state. Depending on the state, if they check underneath your car to see if you have cats on the car, they'll still see the turbo catted downpipes that look like cats, so you should still be good. But we can't guarantee that.

It seems odd to me to spend that kinda money on a turbo kit and go with spring-regulated boost. Would love to see what an EBC would do.

Or go to a friendly mod dealer. :tiphat:

Manual boost controllers - E85 and let the algorythms of the 'advanced' Nissan ECU punch the timing, optimise the VE etc to get some serious neck braking sensations;)

I posted one on the second page, but for some reason it was having some trouble embedding in the forum. I re-up'ed the video, and added it to page 1!

Shipping a turbo kit without any type of cabin mounted boost control is actually a smart way to go about it. There are dozens of selections for electronic boost controllers and every person will have their preference.

Did you guys check the coolant pressure? Im intrested however im curious how the head studs, input/out put shafts, motor internals (push rods, pistons, fuel spray pattern) holding up?
