Stage 2 gtm supercharger pulley specs

Has anyone used kraftwerk pulleys with these kits ...they have a 85mm 7rib 6bolt style pattern and from what I find researching it should be able to bolt right up ...only difference is the pulley size is 85 vs 84 .......but I can seem to find gtm pulley specs...this is the kraftwerks pulley

.....159-99-8507 - Pulleys - Kraftwerks - Skunk2 Store

Any info would be helpful

Damn not a bad find, didn't even think about looking to them. They use similar rotrex compressors in their FRS kits. I know mine has 6 holes like that but not sure on the rib count offhand.
For sizes its all over the place.. I have an early stage 1 kit but somehow ended up with an 88mm pulley. I think most stage 1 people got a 92mm?

I have the stage two kit and it came with a 92mm pulley 8lbs and I did confirm the pulley 6bolt patterns are the same and that it is the 7 rib ...... And doing the math on the pulleys a 85 mm puts me at just over 90k at 7k rpm .... Which i think fits me best ..I don't like redlining the car and thus will get me boost earlier in the rpm range ... And if I'm doing the math right I should be around 10-11 lbs at 7k

Awhile back I was emailing Kraftwerks directly about pulley and SC units. These are some of the notes from the exchange:

We actually Provided GTM with rotrex Units and Pulleys in the Past. This Pulley actually looks like one of ours that has been polished or chromed.

It looks like one of our pulleys, but I cant be sure.

Jinxx 03-28-2016 04:14 PM

Yea they only difference was the measurements .. Kraftwerks use 5mm increments ...80-85-90-95 where as GTM was 84..88.. 92... 96

hot damn! thanks for the info.

Jinxx 03-30-2016 04:48 PM

Lol ... That's how I felt when I found it ... Got my 85mm on the way now will be here 4-4-16

Just a update ...85mm pulley is installed ...went in with no issues I will be testing and logging and planning for a dyno run soon

Looking for the torque specs on the GTM S.C. pulley bolts. 6 6mm bolts.
There are no specs on the rotrex site for these bolts.

This should be it, from the Rotrex Technical Datasheet for the C38:

I saw that spec earlier. That's not the same bolt as the small (6) 6mm bolts. I just snugged them in to probably 15 lbs.

BTW Matt,
The 1.5 install is coming along. I have the S.C. reinstalled with the new intake & filter. I ended up unbolting the header which made installing the motor mount a snap. Using a air ratchet was a life saver for the header bolts!!
Gamma shipped me 2.75 " M.A.F. intake pipes and I called them out on that. They claimed the original post by Sam that included 3" was reworked to 2.75" over time.
Not so sure that's true...

Interesting, I know the ones I received are larger than the ones on my stage 1 kit, though my stage 1 kit was the original and a ton changed from mine to the next.

My car has been towed to a shop to finish my install, got to the point that I don't have time and just need the car running. Now looking at fuel components so I can do e85/flex fuel.

:shakes head:

Yeah, every time I had a seemingly free weekend to come help turn wrenches, life kicked me in the nuts.

Yep, between work, baby, and traveling for work it has been almost impossible to do anything. Though I did forget to text you, Langley is back at a shop (Fred Haas in Tomball), easy for me but not everyone. He just started back up this week and I dropped the car off last weekend so he could get to it 1st before any others.
