Tomei FPR used with sc kit
 
Hi guys anybody on here upgraded there FPR after going forced induction?if so what regulator are you using,iam looking at the tomei type s #185001,any info would be great

Unless newest models have fprs....we don't have fprs.

Mines an 09,its located near front of motor passenger side next to intake manifold

I think that's just a fuel damper... Our pressure regulator is non-adjustable and in the tank IIRC.

Yes I guess some refer to it as a damper,it can be replaced with an adjustable one that also can have a gauge on it to view fuel psi,wondering if anyone's replaced theres

Its not a regulator, its just a damper. As x2o mentioned, the factory regulator is inside the fuel tank. The 370z uses a returnless fuel system and the regulator cannot be upgraded without converting to a return fuel system.

Ya there's some upgraded fuel systems that change z return less stock system,any of you guys running the AAM or other makes?

Yes, I'm running the one that punk makes and it's probably the best thing I have done to the car.It fixed all of the fuel starvation problems these cars have.

On the track my car had problem with over 3/4 of a tank, I can run it empty now.
