AAM Twin Turbo Kit is HERE!
I cannot wait to be in the 500+ club! I been having boost withdraws lately...:happydance: Thanks for Mark and Patrick @ AAM for the fast response and
having the kit well packaged and shipped ASAP! http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c1...psb66aeocd.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c1...psyv0lsqky.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c1...ps3lrzpv8c.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c1...ps7vic5uhq.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c1...psu7q7sjov.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c1...ps2omhjuno.jpg |
SWEET!
Looks like fun to me! |
Happy boosting
|
Congrats and sub'd for your build! :tiphat:
|
Awesome! I'm excited for you! You're going to love boost on the Z!
|
Congrats
Nice to see more and more boosted Z's |
In the next few months, I should be gathering the rest of the parts for installation :)
|
Nice, gonna have a few AAM TT Zs in TN now. Buddy of mine is having Z1 do his 07 Z built block and Twins. Who is gonna install and tune it? This is Cody, friends with Chad White. We follow each other on Instagram lol.

Dyno tunes from Z1 with the Z and my previous G35. I really like the bronze as well but what had me want to get rid of them was the disk that rub slightly on the front calipers and the aggressive offset. I wanted a proper camber/tire setup. Pictures just don't do the wheels justice with the hardline lip! |
All of us guys in Tn are going to have to meet up sometime. I'm in Memphis.

As I read, maybe it's from the 3.5HR you suggested. |
Yeah I'm not sure, it seems to be just my particular luck. We were quite dumbfounded as the shop was installing the AAM kit on a 350z HR at the same time and that car did not have the issue. In the end, the car has been running without creating plumes of smoke since April so I am a happy camper!
|
how is this kit compared to fast intentions?

I would say i like both kits. Both kits make good power, Nice powerband. One thing of the biggest difference is the turbo used and internal and external WG. |

You can't go wrong with either. The FI kit does have more turbo options though and a more proven track record since there are more on the street. |

FI definitely has more kits out there. It seems to be the most popular. Their kits are also well documented throughout the forums. Another observation, it seems from the dyno graphs I have seen, the AAM kit creates a little less torque than the FI. Which could be a good or bad thing depending on your goals. Jwick I quoted you for the mention of turbo options. The rest is just general info for everyone else. I know you know your stuff homie  |

Good point on the torque. I noticed that on most of their kits. The AAM kit on Tony's VQ35HR makes almost equal torque to HP. I'm not sure if that's the tuner or the built VQ35HR motor. Leaning towards the later since he and I have the same tuner. |

I see you are planning for a spring install. Do you plan on attending Zdayz next year in May? Myself and Memphis370 are going. It would be nice to meet you and see your car in person there. Whether or not my car will be there is in the air, but I will be lol. |

Yes spring time is what I'm shooting for! Could be alittle sooner or later but I'm not gonna rush this install and plan on getting some good fuel and clutch :):hello:e |
