i would really enjoy seeing this succeed. i'm sure it would be somewhat 'cheap' to offer an upgrade like this too once this is complete... plumbing, intercooler, wiring for the MAFs? and most importantly labor/know-how... $2,000-2,500 ???

I don't recall anyone losing power, just pressure, which is meaningless because you still have more air going through the engine

Now we need the dyno sheet :)

EVOHUNTER 07-24-2015 01:24 PM

booked for dyno on Aug 23.

ANMVQ 07-24-2015 03:13 PM

:/ That far COME ON LOL

lol trust me, i wish it would be sooner.

Specaility z wont be down until the 23 :(

Sasha should just come up with a new supercharger kit and dominate that part of the market for the 370z. There aren't many options now since the GTM debacle.

quick 3 second google. i've read this outcome on pretty much any build thread that tried to open up the exhaust.

edit - damn that's a very reasonable price, i would have overpaid by $250-$750 as mentioned above and not asked any questions.

:excited: for results

A quote from the manufacturer... Hmmmmm... If all the mfgs claims were true, no one would be fat, the average age of humans would be 200, we'd all be millionaires, and the world would be a better place.

Will the intercooler inside the manifold be removed since it's no longer in use or will it now perform as a heat sink element?

Would there be better flow without it?

instroke 07-24-2015 11:02 PM

Wholly crap - Sasha does it again! Well done - Stillen should just hire you!

I can't even keep up with the turbo demand, imagine if I cam up with a wicked s/c kit...:)

Of course boost pressure will drop when you open up the exhaust. A proper tune will get you right back up there, and the system will operate in a much higher efficiency range.

Yes, the core will be pulled out and a block off plate will be made.

Thank you...I love doing this stuff to be honest. When I see a system that was poorly designed and would benefit from being with me for a week, I get really excited. R&D and engineering is what I really like to do.

EVOHUNTER 07-25-2015 09:36 AM

Car drove home great with my existing tune, at first it would barely drive.

but the computer seemed to learn its new trims pretty fast and had no problem.

The BPV is extremely loud even being recirculated it back into the intake. I was going to vent it to the atmosphere. But i'm happy with how it sounds now, so ill leave it alone.

Im sending the pipes out for powder coating Monday, fabing up a block off plate for the manifold.

You left out that the Stillen kits would make 500hp on their can tune. :rofl2:

Im definitely interested in buying this
