Def worth the extra money. Just in case. Would hate for a fender bender to be a few thousand dollar fix. Going to get a little red tow hook in there I think and she's going to be looking super fine!

Just ask Bob about that. An animal ran out in front of him a few week before ZdayZ and he's convinced that our Front Tow Bar saved his intercooler.

Red tow hook would go great with your color combo.

So sick...so jealous :)

Hotrodz 09-14-2015 10:27 PM

Kevin is spot on! I'm pretty sure my intercooler would have been severely damaged if it wasn't there and if that would have been the case, I would not have been able to attend ZDAYZ. I say do it and do it now as my incident occurred about two months after install. You just never know!!!

BOLIO 671 09-16-2015 12:43 AM

Wow those are awesome numbers....That's a big improvement over 91 Octane gas....I didn't realize how much difference it makes....Even your numbers at 9psi with 91 Octane gas is respectable......to be in the 600's is F'n Great!!!! Congrats....

TerribleONE 09-16-2015 10:48 AM

Nice!! Your in for a treat. My car is a monster at 10psi, at 13.5 its just down right ridiculous

Thanks man! Ya I was blown away when I found out the difference. It's like putting a turbo on your turbo by going e85! LOL The only issue is it seems that e85 is limited in many area. I got lucky and have them all over here so essentially I will just NEVER be moving! HA! Can't freaking WAIT for Saturday!!

Hotrodz 09-16-2015 11:23 PM

Hotrodz 09-19-2015 09:11 AM

That would be awesome but, I'm in the northern half of the state and he further south so it's a no go on that. However, he, I TerribleOne and axmea? will be meeting at Fast Intentions today and going for a little cruise.

Lucky rascals. Maybe one day for me. Everytime I mash on the skinny pedal I feel like the Toe-Cutter from the first Mad Max movie. " {Crying} There is nothing left......!!!!!

GeauxTigers1 09-20-2015 11:45 PM

She is HOME!!! :D So excited and my god I just feel a little different walking around the house knowing that thing is sitting in my garage, patiently waiting for her next giddy up. Amazing experience and I literally felt those little tingles that make your back get all stiff and fists clenched when I asked "can I start her up?!" and Tony said "yes sir!" HAHA!

I'll have more to talk about soon but am exhausted. Cali Traffic is absolutely god awful and will never live there....ever. what. the. ****. Obviously got some very unwanted practice with the clutch tho! LOL She was on 91 octane so not much pushing her on the way home. Get home safe, load her up with e85 and you know I'll have my videos up soon! I did get the opportunity to meet some awesome people as well. Found out I didn't just buy a twin turbo and all the items make her run correctly, but I also gained friendships with some amazing people with the same interests and love for cars and life in general as I do. It's not just customers that FI has, it's a Fraternity, a family that I've joined. We have each others backs and it's the most awesome feeling, especially while we were tearing up the streets together in Cali! ;) Night guys! Can't wait to comment more later about this amazing machine!

Jepawa 09-21-2015 09:31 AM

Best of luck with the TT. Im jealous...but hopefully by January I'll have a TT on my 15' nismo.

Hotrodz 09-21-2015 08:15 PM

Come join the family...we aren't big enough lol!

firulice 09-26-2015 03:15 PM

Any updates?

axmea? 09-27-2015 03:02 AM

LOL on the traffic. Sorry about the traffic, you went south, Bob, Craig, and I went North and had a couple of beers. Was fun! Enjoy your boosted Z. Stay safe # 41.

Kzonts 09-27-2015 08:56 AM

You are one lucky SOB! LOL

Congrats. Can't wait to see how she performs. But drive smart :-)

BOLIO 671 09-28-2015 04:59 AM

The OP is obviously enjoying his new TT kit....he's been quite on the thread since he got his car back....:wtf2:

I don't blame him.....I would be doing the same.... :driving:

Post some Vids and a review when u can OP....

Hotrodz 09-28-2015 08:52 AM

:iagree::iagree::iagree:LOL, I can tell you from my own experience it is pretty overwhelming and every time I would think about writing something I had so many thoughts in my head that it was hard to make a coherent sentence or paragraph lol. I know he is having all kinds of fun (because I know I am) even though it's 100* in the Phoenix area and that is not good for boosting.

I'm also looking forward to what my new FI bro has to say!!! Go Tigers!!!!

This is one of those instances where I should have gone by myself to Cali :( My friend was bitching and moaning bc he needed to be home in time Sunday. Have to love it. Fly the dude out and pay for his ticket only to be on a time crunch bc of it.

Either way was a blast! Wish I could have gone with y'all! Shoot might have gotten home around the same time if I would have left later in the day. You'd think Saturday wouldn't have a rush hour from 8am-10pm, but that's Cali for ya. Can't wait to meet up again! Especially once I've tamed this beast a bit. HAHA

HA! You guys are awesome. I wish I wasn't on here bc I was simply too busy boosting!! HA! Work has been kicking my *** lately so for the most part she's been in the garage. I have taken her out a few times, but have left it at a low low 6lbs of boost bc of these two reasons:
http://i.imgur.com/IudMgkQ.jpg

Gotta love Arizona, and that's actually the cooler temps I've had! Ridiculous! One more fillup though and I should be over e70 and will be making an early morning run! Already have a start up video ready to upload but havn't had the chance due to work. Plus I want to do a bit of editing in it that you may enjoy :)

Review so far is it's everything I could have imagined and more. Out of the 4 boosted cars I've owned this is far beyond any of the others. There is nothing like the throttle response, incredible quick spool, drivability of this car. It literally drives as though it came from the factory this way. Which is EXACTLY what I wanted yet have never been able to experience with boosted cars. I will say the sound in absolutely incredible. Idk if there has been a time yet when I have had the radio on. Just the sweet purr is music to my ears.

Two experiences so far:
Next to a Corvette today and just did a quick 3rd gear pull. Got his thumbs up when he finally caught up...and to think this is with the boost turned down at the LOWEST possible mark! WHAT?? The Z at it's lowest power output just smoked this corvette. :D

Next pulling up to a clients house to discuss the sale of their home and sure enough they are outside as I pull up. Keep in mind, these are people with some SERIOUS money. Mercedes in the driveway, half a million dollar home is just one of their homes, their friends have money, dude owns a Bentley back in his reg hometown the works. When I pull up, the amount of "awe" was super surprising. Immediately says "that thing sounds like it has a serious tune to it" Then you get the :eek2: when you tell him it's approx 750 bhp. HEHE.

There's nothing quite like having this car in the garage and the ability to take her out every chance I get. Tony and FI have followed up multiple times to make sure I'm doing great and again making me truly feel as though I'm part of the family. If I had to do it all over again, there is absolutely nothing I would change. Incredible people have created and incredible dream car for me. And just to imagine the power I'm going to feel when she's turned up!

firulice 09-29-2015 10:11 PM

Good to hear. Just wanted to make sure you didn't pull a Paul walker on us. Also I'm living vicariously through you until I have an extra 20k or so to give to Tony as well. you have the perfect setup and Im excited to get updates.give me another year, two tops and I'm diving in :)
