Nissan 370Z Forum - Hood pins installation help

Debated throwing this in the DIY section but posted here instead as I'm asking a question and not really teaching anything so please don't flame me!

I'd like to install flush mount hood pins on my z. My question to those of you who have already installed them is where exactly did you install the pins? I already have my lins however Im doing my homework as to how exactly to mount them. Hopefully someone can hook me up with a DIY or images or something.

I had planned on removing the factory side latches and utilizing the existing holes in that location but I feel like the latches would be too far to the sides and forward edge of the hood. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
