I have an early 1/09 build and have had this issue come and go.
Never got it fixed and it doesn't bother me but it does seem to be related to the fuel sender or in some cases a bad led. How you can tell the difference is like in my case my led light works and then it doesn't so I know its not the led. I've honestly wouldn't trust the dealer to rip out the sender to replace it but thats just me. |
^^^ I agree with Trips. I also asked the dealer about it and if it was covered by my warranty...he said yes it is but it's $300 for the unit and my deductible is $500. He was like I would just leave it because there is no garrentee that new one would work any better.
